Summer is coming to autumn, and the climate is slightly cool. Now the construction hot melt marking line is not as hot as in summer, and it will not affect the adhesion of the marking line. So let’s learn about the specific steps of hot melt marking line:
01. Check the road surface and confirm that the road surface has no moisture, oil stains and convex obstacles.
02. Make preparations before construction, measure the direction of the standard line, and open the line accurately, and set it for review.
03. Mechanical inspection before construction, and the following aspects are specially checked:
① Diesel engine, cooling water level, lubricating oil level, fuel oil level;
② Scribing machine, applicator (scraping and spraying) All coatings are adjusted according to the film thickness and line width), glass bead spreader (check whether the uniformity and quantity of glass beads are sufficient, and whether the pipeline is blocked)
04. Clarify the responsibilities of the construction personnel, insist on making construction records, and the records should have the following contents: road surface and air temperature, relative humidity (%), weather conditions, wind direction, wind force, road type, road conditions (traffic material type, new and old, clean or not) paint melting temperature, paint usage, construction length, area, and calculate the coating rate.
05. When applying base oil, the coating range should be slightly wider than the marking line. The coating amount is 8 meters/kg. Only when the solvent is completely evaporated can the hot melt coating be constructed.
06. Monitor the temperature and pavement temperature at any time. The temperature must be above 3℃ during construction. When the pavement temperature is lower than 9℃, construction is carried out with caution! The burning temperature of the hot melting kettle should be determined according to the weather conditions during construction. When the temperature is low, the burning temperature should be appropriately increased; when the temperature is high, the burning temperature should be appropriately reduced.
07. Do not overheat the paint in the hot melting kettle or construction truck, the paint temperature must not exceed 220℃! Careful construction is carried out when the thermometer of the hot melting kettle fails!
08. The paint in the hot melting kettle should be stirred evenly, and the required viscosity and temperature should be maintained. Too high temperature will make the paint too thin, and a long-term high temperature will discolor the paint. After the paint melts, stirring should be continued for 10 minutes before the material is discharged.
