Bamboo has been a favorite plant of literati since ancient times because of its momentum, its growth, its nobility and integrity.
As a plant, bamboo is naturally a choice for architecture.
The Shishe Zhuli Hotel in Yibin, Sichuan is a B&B that uses bamboo as the main decorative material. I am lucky enough to visit it, so I will tell you my own feelings.
The bedroom is not just a place to sleep, it is a way for us to relax and an environment that enables deep sleep.
To be honest, when we were lying in the bedroom, we could not smell the fragrance of bamboo throughout the room, because they were not fresh bamboo. If we really smelled a strong fragrance, then I would worry about what chemical fragrances were sprayed.
But this natural decorative environment makes me very relaxed.
As a B&B planner and a person who travels all over the country, this kind of status is even more rare.
Maybe it’s because I stay in a reinforced concrete environment all day long and rely on nature, or maybe it’s my curiosity, but I’m just very relaxed, which is really weird.
What I like most about the whole B&B is this tea room. Maybe it’s because I like to drink tea. I feel that sitting quietly there, drinking hot tea, can wash my mind, and many of my ideas can float into my mind with the tea.
In Zhuli Pavilion, I integrated many of my original ideas, and a wonderful chemical reaction was born. In the near future, my ideas will be presented one by one.
