Today we share a case study of converting a three-bedroom apartment into a four-bedroom apartment. This is a common three-bedroom apartment with an overall layout that is transparent from north to south. The overall layout of the house is relatively long, with one bedroom on the north side and two bedrooms on the south side.
The original house type has only one corner at the entrance. There is very little space for a shoe cabinet. The kitchen space is also very small and there is no operating area. The balcony is also in the bedroom, so washing and drying is not very convenient.
According to the actual needs of the owner, a family of four and an elderly person need to live together from three to four bedrooms. Next we start the transformation.
Since the entrance side is only 50 centimeters, the space is relatively small, so we need to make two recesses on the other side of the wall to meet the daily storage needs of the whole family.
Since the original kitchen space is relatively small and the overall operating space is not enough, we borrowed part of the space from the right to make an extra row of cabinets. Meet daily operation use.
Next to the kitchen is the elderly room. We set it up as usual, with a wardrobe and desk at the end of the bed and the bed in the center. Suitable for daily use by two elderly people.
Since the original living room is relatively spacious, we divided the original living room into two parts by building a wall to create two children's rooms. The overall bedroom can be equipped with sliding doors. When sleeping, it is closed to form a closed space, and when it is opened, it is an open space for activities.
On the other side, we have an island and dining table next to the window. Meet the dining needs of the whole family. Our former public health building was converted into a storage room. Storage of furniture and miscellaneous items. If necessary, the basic functions of the bathroom can also be retained.
Finally remodeled the master bedroom and changed the door opening to the inside. Stretch the main guard and divide the main guard into two. Make public defenders and main defenders at the same time. The public bathroom is conventionally equipped with a toilet and shower room inside, and a bathroom cabinet outside to form a dry and wet separation pattern. A regular and comfortable three-piece suit for the main bathroom will suffice.
For the layout of the master bedroom, we can set it up as usual, with a bed in the center and a full wall wardrobe and desk at the end of the bed.
Finally, we changed the original bedroom into the living room, which solved the embarrassing problem of drying clothes in the bedroom. Conventional layout of the living room.
