When the upper half of the radiator at home is hot, the lower half is cold, and the indoor temperature does not rise. When this happens, some users think that the radiator is broken and feel very panicked. In fact, this is a normal situation during the use of the radiator, and the user only needs to perform the following processing.

1. Find the water supply valve. Since the upper half of the radiator is hot and the lower half is cold, it means that there is a valve on the side of the upper part of the radiator to adjust the size of the switch. The user can feel the hotter temperature by touching it with his hand.

2. Find the exhaust valve. After finding the water supply valve, opposite it is the exhaust valve. Observe whether it is a straight valve or a cross valve. We need to operate it.
3. Prepare the corresponding knife and a small basin.

4. Use a knife to turn the one-word valve or cross valve of the exhaust valve counterclockwise. At this time, water or water vapor will be discharged from the exhaust port. When draining water from the exhaust port, wait until a continuous water column flows out, then turn the exhaust valve clockwise to close.

5. After waiting for 20 minutes, observe again whether the surface temperature of the radiator has improved. If there is still uneven temperature, an exhaust treatment should be performed.

Through the above operations, you can effectively solve the problem of hotness on the top of the radiator and coldness on the bottom. This is because the heating water expands to produce moisture, which easily stagnates inside the radiator and hinders the flow circulation of the heating water. Therefore, manual exhaust is used to discharge the moisture inside.
