In this issue, the editor will share with you a design case of four rooms with an actual area of about 120 square meters. The project is located in Changsha, Hunan. Based on the structure, the house looks like four rooms. In fact, the small study space is indeed not large, the functional layout is relatively reasonable, the house type is also good, and the movement and static paths are clear. Although it is not a particularly good north-south transparent house, the large balcony is very valuable and has a high utilization rate. Let's take a look at how to optimize the floor plan.
graphic design
A family of three naturally has different needs, so the renovation is quite large. The entrance hall is retained at the entrance, and the second bedroom on the south side is cancelled. After the passage, a large living room with an area of nearly 7 meters is formed. A storage cloakroom about 1.5 meters wide is also designed. The TV wall is also designed in the form of a storage cabinet. The balcony is opened into the living room and used as an open tea room, giving the entire living room a wide view and a transparent space, giving the visual sense of a large flat floor. The original small study room was changed to a housekeeping room, and the refrigerator was arranged here to free up operating space for the kitchen. The direction of the door opening in the children's room was changed, and the public bathroom was designed to be truly separated into three parts, which greatly improved the utilization rate. The shower room was eliminated in the master bedroom and the space was used to make a small cloakroom. The entire space layout not only considered the details of life, but also improved the quality of home life.
Porch
Through the shape of the ceiling and door opening, the entrance hall has the feeling of an atrium, which is very grand and instantly gives the visual sense of a large flat floor. The shoe cabinet uses color matching design techniques to improve the quality of the home. Look at the touch of olive green and the elegant design, which is simple yet luxurious.
Living Room
The renovated living room has a wide view. The suspended ceiling design without main light is very grand, and it also has a sense of atmosphere and design. The use of olive green makes the space fresh and comfortable. The sofa is placed in the center, forming a migratory line, making the space feel smoother. The background of the sofa is the wall of the storage room. The invisible door of the storage room is hidden between the minimalist lines. A simple freehand decorative painting embellishes the background, which is simple yet fashionable, low-key yet elegant.
The TV wall is in the form of a storage cabinet and also has a color-blocking design. When the cabinet door opens, it becomes an open display bookcase. When closed, it becomes a complete background wall. The projection screen is hidden in the ceiling, which satisfies the family's vision of watching blockbusters at home on weekends. It brings a sense of happiness and creates a fashionable and elegant high-end living environment for the homeowner.
Balcony Tea Room
After the balcony was renovated, large floor-to-ceiling windows were installed, which made the living room more open and bright. A tea cabinet was designed on one side of the balcony, which is very practical. A large solid wood table can be used as a desk or a tea table. It can even be used as a family to do crafts together, which is also very good to increase the parent-child atmosphere.
Restaurant
The restaurant has a small space, and it also takes into account the kitchen and the common passage between the two rooms, so there is no redundant hard design to ensure the basic aisle space. It only arranges a set of exquisite and fashionable sideboards and a decorative painting, and that's it. It continues the color tone of the living room, and a fashionable, avant-garde, elegant visual sense is coming.
Master bedroom
A large area of solid color is used as the bedroom bedside background, which looks particularly refreshing and pleasant. The ceiling is also designed with a light source, which not only meets the needs of lighting, but also has a sense of design and is very practical. The other walls are designed in khaki.
