was a four-bedroom house with many partition walls, which gave people a strong sense of oppression. There was also a lot of useless space, making it difficult to plan the space.

House owner’s appeal:
■ Convert four bedrooms to three, retaining two bedrooms and a study and guest room;
■ The kitchen needs a steamer, oven, dishwasher, large double-door refrigerator and other rich kitchen appliances, and the original space cannot be planned. Needs improvement;
■ In the original house type, only the balcony of the living room has a sewage pipe for the washing machine. The balcony of the second bedroom has no sewer pipe and cannot accommodate a washing machine. However, the balcony of the living room can easily block the light as a drying area and affect the overall sense of space in the living room.

House layout optimization:
■ The width of the dry area in the secondary bathroom is expanded, and a washing machine and dryer are designed, which frees up the space of the living room balcony. The balcony is completely included in the living room, and the spaciousness is increased by half;
■ All the original walls of the kitchen were demolished, and an open kitchen was designed, with an island and a dining table. Considering the impact of occasional oil smoke, a four-link hanging rail sliding door was added, so that the dining and kitchen area can be opened or closed;
■ An L-shaped entrance storage cabinet was built at the entrance, which greatly increased the storage function of the entrance. The dryer and washing machine are hidden behind the entrance to make reasonable use of the space. The master bedroom
The master bedroom retains the original layout, and uses the L-shaped bay window to increase the natural lighting in the house. The main background uses wood veneer as half wall decoration, and dark gray leather furniture is simple and elegant.
A whole row of wardrobes are customized against the wall for clothing storage. The cabinet doors that are similar in color to the background wall make the entire space look more complete and unified, and the wooden handles echo the background wall decoration.
