Clivia is a positive plant, direct sunlight in summer can burn leaves, inhibiting the growth of plants, resulting in Clivia not blooming.
The temperature is too high and the environment is too dry. The suitable growth temperature of Clivia is 15~25℃. Too high temperature and inadequate ventilation will affect the normal growth of Clivia. Soil is the direct source of nutrients for plant growth. If the potting and soil are not changed for a long time, nutrients will be lost in the soil, the potting soil will be slably solid and drained, the plant growth will not be sufficient oxygen, and the leaf growth will be affected, which will affect the normal opening of Clivia.
Clivia likes fertilizer, so not applying fertilizer in time will definitely affect the growth trend. There is not enough nutrients for Clivia growth, so where can there be extra energy to bloom? If the flower pot is too small, the roots of Clivia cannot be stretched out. If the photosynthesis produces less nutrients, the Clivia will not bloom; if the flower pot is too large, the Clivia will not grow steadily, and it will not feel safe, and of course it will not bloom.
From May to September each year, Clivia should be placed in a shed or in a semi-shady place without direct sunlight. Keep the temperature between 15~25℃ and ventilate in time, spray the surrounding environment of Clivia to maintain air humidity. In terms of soil, change the pot and replace the soil in time to ensure that the growth of Clivia has sufficient nutrients.
