On October 28, 2022, the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publicized the list of green design demonstration enterprises (fourth batch).
has been self-evaluated by enterprises, recommended by provincial industrial and information technology authorities (or central enterprises) and expert review. A total of 99 enterprises have been selected, including 25 electronic and electrical appliance companies. Among them, enterprises related to home appliances include Yuanda Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. , Changsha Gree HVAC Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd., TCL Industrial Holdings Co., Ltd., Qingdao Hisense Hitachi Air Conditioning System Co., Ltd. , Hisense Refrigerator Co., Ltd., Hisense Air Conditioning Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Huaxing Optoelectronics Semiconductor Display Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Skyworth Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhouming Technology Co., Ltd. , etc.
green design is based on the concept of life cycle . In the product design and development stage, the impact of raw material selection, production, circulation, use, recycling and processing on resources and links is systematically considered. It strives to minimize resource and energy consumption in the entire life cycle of product , and use as little or no harmful raw materials as possible, so as to achieve the activities of reducing pollution, carbon reduction, and green and low-carbon cycle development. The creation of a list of green design demonstration enterprises for industrial products is to explore the industry green design process, promote the full-chain green product supply system, and drive the green coordinated upgrade of the industrial chain and supply chain.
