Architect Bianca Pohio worked closely with her business partner architect Chris Adams, who said the house has been expanding in recent years, causing a series of problems.

Although there are enough bedrooms, each bedroom now has its own ensuite and living area. Therefore, in terms of space layout, it is necessary to enable all residents to reach the garage directly, rather than detour through the front garden.

"The other problem is the number of floors that pass through the entire building, many living spaces cannot be directly connected to the garden and terrace," Bianca added, who is keen on solving other problems with the house - lack of daylight.

Kitchen is the focus of the whole house and is equipped with a marble island. The laundry room occupies a golden location close to the kitchen and features a custom painted bookcase for hiding. A huge sliding glass door on the side cleverly separates the kitchen from the living room and dining room.

Although the house looks relatively complete, only the original three rooms and the first floor exterior wall are retained during the renovation. These original rooms are preserved with high decorative ceilings: one serves as a formal seating area, the other serves as a study and the third serves as a guest room.

The luxurious master bedroom with a view of the city and harbor is in dark colors to highlight the appearance. However, this space has been transformed far more than a few places of spiritual writing.
The sumptuous main bedroom that benefits from both city and harbour views, features a dark palette to acccentuate the aspect. However, this renovation is considered more than a number of deft touches.
"Customer's demand briefing has increased slightly. And as children grow up with family members, the decoration must take into account the daily and long-term vision of the whole family living under the same roof," Bianca added.
"The client's brief slightly expanded. But with more children and family members' longer-time staying at home, the renovation had to account for the family living under the one roof for considerably longer," Bianca adds.

Compared with some whole houses, each room here has been carefully considered and designed to harmonize the sense of light and express the different temperament of each space.
Unlike some renovations where there’s a singular colour palette and treatment throughout the entire house, here each room has been thoughtfully expressed to respond to the light, the feel of each room.
In the bathroom, the light brown marble wall below and the pure white wall above, one shallow and one deep depicts the delicate texture of the earth's scenery, and one light and one heavy carves the eternal freedom of the spirit.
