#1 Length: 246cm
The countertop is a single piece, without cutting. IKEA's Salin countertops come in two sizes, 183 and 246. The board comes with the same material for edge sealing. If it is a customized cabinet, the installer can cut it on site and then apply the edge sealing.
is not as refined as the factory original, but it is not very obvious either. For ordinary home coffee corners, 183 or shorter is recommended.
#2 Width: 63cm
The width is also fixed on the Salin table. Vertical cutting will be troublesome, so make sure you can accept this size first. Generally, the width of a home coffee corner is 45cm, which is sufficient, depending on the size of the coffee machine.
#3 Height: 93cm
IKEA cabinets are available in two sizes, 80cm and 90cm, which mainly depends on the height of the base cabinet. You know, it is the concept of building blocks, and the base cabinets are also fixed sizes one by one.
My kitchen in Shanghai is set at 80. With the raised pots and stoves, etc., it is just right for me with a height of 160. But as a coffee corner, 90 would be more comfortable.
#4 Combination of drawers
Because this coffee corner is in my room and there is no water source, there is no way to make a sink or insert a dishwasher, so I just made it all into drawers. 11 in total, 4+3+4 layout.
drawers are indeed much more expensive, but in fact, for storage in the later stage, you also need to use various extension products to create the effect of drawers. It is better to do it in one step here.
IKEA drawer sizes: heights are 10, 20 and 40cm respectively:

20cm high drawers will have a higher usage rate, and most regular-sized dinner plates can also be placed vertically.
40cm Tall drawers can store pots, kitchen appliances, and large sundries that you don’t know how to classify and organize. I personally recommend making one or two.
