When buying kitchen cabinets, only look at the brand? No! Only looking at sheet metal? No! Just listen to recommendations from friends? No!
Merchants sell products to you just to recommend their own products. How can they expose their own shortcomings? If you are an expert or a layman, as long as you learn to ask questions, then no one can fool you. Keep the following five questions in your notebook. You can ask these questions when buying cabinets. You are right.
asked: What is the thickness of the cabinet plate?
Most of the boards on the market are 16mm or 18mm thick. Let me give you the answer directly: Choose 18mm board cabinets for a longer service life, which is basically twice as long as 16mm board cabinets. The price is only about 7% higher than 16mm board cabinets. A cabinet costing 10,000 yuan, I think the extra 700 is still worth it; if you consider renovating it for a few years, that's up to you.
second question: environmental protection level?
Board environmental protection grades E0, E1, and E2 are relatively common. The national formaldehyde emission standards are E0≤0.5mg/L, E1=0.5-1.5mg/L, and E2>1.5mg/L. The latest national standards in October 2021 It is also the most stringent ENF level in the world. It is basically the environmentally friendly ceiling in the industry. It can be used as your cabinets without opening or waiting.
three questions: What is the thickness of the countertop?
The thickness of the countertop must be more than 15mm to basically meet our daily use requirements. It must be matched with aluminum crossbeams, with aluminum crossbeams, with aluminum crossbeams (important things to say three times), even if you chop peppers or pig feet, you are not afraid, and other whole boards, Both the bottom plate and the top plate pass!
four questions: Single-sided/double-sided sealing of the back panel?
The seal is made of fireproof leather, which is actually used to prevent moisture. Most merchants seal the picture on one side to save labor, but if we choose, we should have fireproof leather on both the front and back sides. This can ensure that it is not damp and moldy to the maximum extent, so that it can be lived in. Don't be upset.
Five questions: Hardware brand?
Hatice and Blum are imported brands. Their quality has been tested by the market and are very trustworthy. Domestic DTC hardware is also good. Refuse to use other brand-name hardware.
