In March 1982, in Bancang, Changsha, Hunan, a staff member accidentally found an oil-paper bag in a crack in the wall while repairing a former residence. Slowly opening it, people found that it was a pile of yellowed manuscripts tightly wrapped.

Before his execution, Yang Kaihui said:

What do these manuscripts describe? Whose hand is it from? Why did its owner hide them in the cracks in the wall?

Expert appraisal confirmed that these manuscripts are diaries and letters left by revolutionary martyr Yang Kaihui more than 50 years ago. Regrettably, her lover Mao Zedong, whom she deeply cared about, never saw these words filled with long thoughts and boundless expectations for the success of the revolution.

In 1901, Yang Kaihui was born in Bancang, Changsha, Hunan. The father who has the ambition to save the country and the people Yang Changji crossed the ocean when she was less than three years old. Living abroad, he was worried about his daughter's school age, so he wrote to his wife to ask his wife to send her to school. At that time, there was no precedent for a girl to go to school in Itakura, and Yang Kaihui became the first female student in a local school.

In 1913, Yang Changji returned from studying abroad and taught at Hunan Provincial First Normal School . In 1914, the Hunan Provincial Fourth Normal School was merged into the First Division, Mao Zedong was put into the eighth class, and Yang Changji became his teacher.

Yang Kaihui once wrote in the manuscript of "Six-year-old to 28-year-old Reading": Since I heard many things about him and saw many of his articles and diaries, I loved him. Although I love him, I never mean that I believe that the authority of love is in the hands of nature, and I will never wish for it. Until he had many letters to me expressing his love, I still couldn't believe that I was so lucky.

The unbelievable superlative and most beautiful and supreme love!"

In early 1927, in order to prepare for the Wuchang Peasant Movement Workshop, Mao Zedong and Yang Kaihui and his family came to Wuhan and lived in Wuchang Dufudi No. 41. Only my mother and my children, I feel a little sorry for them! If you really lose a mother, or even a father, it’s not the love of an uncle, it can be withstood, you have to take care of all aspects of it, in order to grow naturally in the warm spring, without being subjected to the strong wind Rain's invasion!"
