But at this time, the public security organs suddenly came to the door. It turned out that people reported that Ling Fengwu was once a member of the Kuomintang, and he had been the director of the Jiangxi Detention Center for a long time.

In 1957, an English teacher named Ling Fengwu somewhere in Jiangxi planned to set off to Nanchang to do a big event.

But at this time, the public security organs suddenly came to the door. It turned out that people reported that Ling Fengwu was once a member of the Kuomintang, and he had been the director of the Jiangxi Detention Center for a long time.

As a result, Ling Fengwu's actions were naturally restricted and he had to be investigated by the public security organs.

Ling Fengwu was very anxious after hearing this, so he quickly took out a letter. This note was actually written to him by Fang Zhichun, the deputy governor of Jiangxi Province. In the letter, Fang Zhichun asked Ling Fengwu to come to Nanchang in a sincere tone.

Fang Zhichun

This shocked everyone. Why did a former KMT criminal have contact with the current deputy governor of Jiangxi?

After Ling Fengwu's explanation, everyone learned that this incident was related to Fang Zhimin, who died many years ago.

Fang Zhimin in the mass grave is the cousin of Fang Zhichun, the current deputy governor of Jiangxi Province. For many years, Fang Zhichun has been thinking about one thing, that is, the remains of his brother Fang Zhimin have never been found.

Fang Zhimin was secretly killed by the enemy. Of course, the enemy would not erect a monument for Fang Zhimin. After the martyr was killed, the remains were nowhere to be found. Everyone only knows that Fang Zhimin’s remains are probably in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, but Nanchang is so big, where can they find it?

After Fang Zhichun came to Jiangxi as the deputy governor, he also wanted to search for it, but if he really searched all over the city, it would be a waste of time and money, so the matter has not been found.

But unexpectedly, in 1957, people suddenly made an unexpected discovery.

In 1957, during the First Five-Year Plan period, workers were building a chemical fiber factory in Xiashawo, Nanchang, Jiangxi. When they were breaking ground, a group of workers suddenly dug up several skeletons.

This shocked everyone. How could we dig out the bones of these dead people in such a good place?

The workers immediately reported the matter to the public security organs. At first everyone thought it was a homicide, but when the police arrived, they discovered something was wrong. These skeletons had obviously been dead for a long time, at least more than ten years.

After the public security organs arrived, they cleaned the scene again and found that the number of corpses here was shocking.

Based on the location of Xiashawo, the police speculated that this was most likely a mass grave left by the Kuomintang, and the bones found were most likely those of the revolutionary martyrs of that year.

The public security organs quickly protected the place and did not allow outsiders to enter. At the same time, they hurriedly called in experts for identification. After

experts arrived, they took the skeletons back. After careful study, they concluded that the time of death of these skeletons was indeed before liberation, and the handcuffs and shackles they wore were indeed used by the Kuomintang.

Therefore, it can be inferred that these people are undoubtedly revolutionary martyrs.

Everyone can't help but have mixed feelings in their hearts. Firstly, I am happy that after many years of sacrifice, these revolutionary martyrs were finally found and able to accept everyone's memorial; secondly, I am grieved that so many unknown heroes have died in the hands of the enemy without any reason!

At this moment, someone suddenly had an idea. Wasn't Fang Zhimin secretly killed by the enemy in Nanchang? Is it possible that Fang Zhimin's remains are among these bones? As soon as the idea of

was proposed, everyone thought it was very possible. The location and time are correct, but how to confirm?

These skeletons have long been changed beyond recognition, and there is no evidence to prove their identities. However, Fang Zhimin is an important figure in the history of our party. If he is really among these people, his bones must be found to give an explanation to the revolutionary martyrs.

Revolutionary pioneer

Fang Zhimin has a legendary life. After the May 4th Movement, young Fang Zhimin was inspired and decided to fight for the cause of the country and nation throughout his life.

In the autumn of 1919, young Fang Zhimin came to Nanchang Industrial School to study.Nanchang was considered a relatively prosperous big city in China at that time, but in this seemingly glamorous big city, Fang Zhimin saw all kinds of injustices in the world.

Especially the foreigners who shuttle through Nanchang are so dismissive of the Chinese. They ignore the law, ignore morality, and treat China as their own private industry.

All this shocked Fang Zhimin's heart. He realized that China was in a dark and chaotic period, and someone had to save the country, otherwise China would never have a future.

For this great purpose of saving the country, Fang Zhimin began to study Marxism by himself in school.

Without telling the principal and teachers of the school, he brought a lot of progressive books and distributed them among his classmates. He also established a student organization within the school to resist the rule of imperialism and the corrupt and dark government.

But his actions were quickly noticed by the school's upper management. Such actions were tantamount to a kind of rebellion at the time.

The school quickly expelled the disobedient student.

But this did not deter Fang Zhimin, and he soon transferred to Nan Weilie School.

In school, Fang Zhimin often held "The Communist Manifesto" and " Capital " in his hands and studied them carefully. At that time, Fang Zhimin did not have a complete Chinese translation, so he chewed down these two books word by word with the help of an English dictionary.

With such perseverance, Fang Zhimin read through several works of Marx and Engels from beginning to end, and gained a clearer understanding of communism. He believed that only communism could save China.

After leaving school, Fang Zhimin founded Nanchang Cultural Book Club.

The spark of the revolution completely spread in Jiangxi. Cultural Publishing House printed and published a large number of revolutionary and progressive books, and attracted many students and workers to gather around Fang Zhimin. All this made the reactionary warlords feel very nervous.

So in 1923, Fang Zhimin was wanted on a large scale.

In order to avoid the enemy's search, Fang Zhimin had to leave his hometown and hide in various places. However, in the process of running around, Fang Zhimin still did not forget the ideal of revolution.

In 1924, Fang Zhimin officially joined the Communist Party. When he joined the party, Fang Zhimin said: "From now on, everything about me, including my life, has been given to the party."

Everything that happened later proved that Fang Zhimin was worthy of the oath he made.

fell into the hands of the enemy

As the early leader of the Communist Party of China, Fang Zhimin played the most important role. In the history of the Red Army , Fang Zhimin is an indelible name. However, it is regrettable that Fang Zhimin did not see the light coming.

In 1934, the situation became very unfavorable to the Red Army. At this time, the Japanese invaded China aggressively. At this moment, the Party Central Committee made a decision to let Fang Zhimin and other leaders lead the advance troops of the Red Army to go north to fight against Japan. However, this was a road of no return.

In December 1934, 's anti-Japanese advance team went north and fell into enemy siege. Fang Zhimin and Su Yu led a small group of troops to fight to the death to break out of the encirclement. But at this moment, the troops led by Liu Chouxi are still trapped in the encirclement.

Su Yu

Su Yu decided to turn back to save people, but Fang Zhimin stopped Su Yu: "Your position is lower than Liu Chouxi's, and it is difficult for Liu Chouxi to listen to your suggestions. I should go back in person and, as the chairman of the Military and Political Committee of the Red Tenth Army, order him to break out of the encirclement quickly."

In order to save his comrades, Fang Zhimin, who was already out of danger, returned to the encirclement again.

Unfortunately, by the time Fang Zhimin finally reunited with Liu Chouxi, the best opportunity to break out had already been missed.

More than 2,000 people in the anti-Japanese advance team heading north were surrounded by the enemy near Huaiyu Mountain. Fang Zhimin was separated from the large army. At that time, the only person following him was his guard Wei Changfa.

Unfortunately, Wei Changfa is a weak-willed person.Originally Wei Changfa and Fang Zhimin were hiding in a cave, but after hiding for a few days, Wei Changfa felt that he was empty and hungry, so he asked to go down the mountain to find food.

Fang Zhimin hurriedly stopped him and told him that there were enemy troops at the bottom of the mountain. If he went down the mountain now, he would definitely die.

But Wei Changfa felt that he could not wait any longer, so while Fang Zhimin fell asleep in the cave, Wei Changfa secretly went down the mountain. This time when we got down the mountain, we fell into the enemy's trap.

Wei Changfa regretted his mistake, but the enemy was greatly surprised. They had caught a big fish.

Soon, the enemy tortured Wei Changfa and asked him to reveal the whereabouts of Fang Zhimin.

At the same time, they also tempted Wei Changfa and said: As long as they reveal Fang Zhimin's specific location, they can make Wei Changfa an official in the Kuomintang, give him endless money, and also reward him with a beautiful wife.

Wei Changfa failed to resist the temptation and betrayed his comrades.

In this way, the enemy trapped Fang Zhimin in the cave and captured him.

Chiang Kai-shek was very excited. Fang Zhimin was a very talented person. If he could be used by the Kuomintang, that would be great, and if he could persuade Fang Zhimin to surrender, it would definitely be a serious blow to the Communist Party.

So Chiang Kai-shek decided to use psychological warfare. He found many people who had friendship with Fang Zhimin in the past, his classmates, his relatives and friends, and took turns going to the prison to lobby Fang Zhimin, hoping that he would wake up, publish a statement in the newspaper, and accept the position assigned to him by the Kuomintang.

High-ranking officials, generous salaries, wealth and splendor, these are undeniable conditions in the eyes of the Kuomintang, but in the eyes of Fang Zhimin, these conditions they offered are really ridiculous.

Fang Zhimin said to the people who came to persuade him to surrender: "I am a politician, not a conspirator. It is absolutely impossible for me to join your group."

Unswerving

After some time, Fang Zhimin met a more special person who persuaded him to surrender in prison. This person was a prisoner like Fang Zhimin, named Hu Yimin.

But not long ago, Hu Yimin was the central prison warden of the Kuomintang in Nanjing and a popular figure in front of Chiang Kai-shek.

Speaking of Hu Yimin's experience, it can be regarded as ups and downs.

He once followed Chiang Kai-shek Northern Expedition and made considerable contributions. However, the internal struggle within the Kuomintang was so fierce that Hu Yimin went to prison four times. Hu Yimin was also disheartened when he was imprisoned this time.

He knew that Chiang Kai-shek had always been ruthless and unjust. If he really wanted to kill him, it would only be a matter of nodding.

But at the same time, because Hu Yimin was a hero of the Kuomintang before, his treatment in prison was not bad. The Kuomintang allowed his family to enter the prison to take care of him, and also gave him room to move freely in the prison.

But Chiang Kai-shek also had a purpose. Soon after Hu Yimin was imprisoned, Chiang Kai-shek conveyed a message to him: Although he had committed a felony, if he could persuade Fang Zhimin to surrender, Chiang Kai-shek would consider giving him leniency.

Hu Yimin was skeptical about the leniency that Chiang Kai-shek said, but this suggestion was Hu Yimin's life-saving straw. So with the purpose of persuading surrender, Hu Yimin approached Fang Zhimin.

Unexpectedly, Hu Yimin and Fang Zhimin hit it off.

Hu Yimin initially tried to persuade Fang Zhimin to give in.

Fang Zhimin said frankly to Hu Yimin: "Old Hu, surrender is a big joke. Since I was arrested and imprisoned, the results of actual observations here have further proved that what we did before was very correct. The enemy can only chop off our heads, but cannot shake our faith, because The doctrine we believe in is the truth of the universe. "

The reason why Fang Zhimin was so frank with Hu Yimin was because he could see that although Hu Yimin was on the Kuomintang side, he was a good person with good intentions, so he didn't mind treating the prisoner from a different party in front of him as a friend.

Sure enough, when Hu Yimin heard Fang Zhimin's words, he couldn't help but feel admiration: "You are really not a weakling, I admire you."

From then on, the two formed a deep friendship and supported each other in prison.

Because Hu Yimin moved more easily, he passed on some outside intelligence to Fang Zhimin from time to time.

Fang Zhimin often mentioned to Hu Yimin the communism he believed in. Whenever these topics are mentioned, Fang Zhimin's eyes sparkle.

The main job Fang Zhimin did in prison was to write the manuscript, which later became known as "Lovely China".

When Fang Zhimin is writing a manuscript, Hu Yimin usually listens to Fang Zhimin talking about his inspiration.

But one day Fang Zhimin suddenly put down his pen and said that he didn't want to write anymore. Hu Yimin was very surprised and asked why?

Fang Zhimin sighed and said, "Even if I write it, I can't send it out."

Hu Yimin stood up on the spot and solemnly told his friend that if Fang Zhimin wanted to send these manuscripts out, he would be willing to help.

Fang Zhimin was very excited when he heard what Hu Yimin said, so he accelerated his creation.

At that time, Fang Zhimin had already anticipated that he would never be able to survive in the hands of the enemy, so he wanted to do his best to leave his last wealth for the party organization.

Hu Yimin later fulfilled his promise. He took huge risks and sent Fang Zhimin's manuscripts from Jiangxi to Shanghai four times. These manuscripts totaled 130,000 words and were very precious cultural wealth.

Farewell finally

html One night in July, Fang Zhimin handed his last manuscript to Hu Yimin. At that time, he said to Hu Yimin in a heavy tone:

"Old Hu, he Everyone who is supposed to appear has come out, and this scene is probably about to end. Our conversation is probably a farewell. This is the last batch of manuscripts. When I am released from prison, I will send them to Shanghai and try to find Lu Xun , Soong Ching Ling , or others. He was truly sympathetic to the progressive organization of the Communists. Here are the letters I wrote to them..."

Soong Ching Ling

After saying this, Fang Zhimin smiled with some relief, and said to Hu Yimin: "I have caused trouble for you, I hope you will be careful and take it seriously. "

Fang Zhimin was taken out of prison by the enemy the next day. From then on, Hu Yimin never saw this respectable friend again.

In addition to Hu Yimin, Fang Zhimin also made many life-and-death friends in prison. He was such a charming person that everyone in the prison, from prisoners to jailers, were impressed by him and were willing to follow Fang Zhimin to join the communist ranks.

Ling Fengwu was inspired by Fang Zhimin to become a supporter of communism from the director of the prison.

At first, Ling Fengwu obeyed the orders of the Kuomintang and closely monitored Fang Zhimin day and night.

But he soon realized that Fang Zhimin was an admirable person. In prison, the enemies used all kinds of torture on him, but Fang Zhimin did not reveal any secrets about the organization.

Ling Fengwu

Ling Fengwu had never seen such a determined person. Out of curiosity and admiration, Ling Fengwu came to the prison to visit Fang Zhimin from time to time, and also used his only ability to help Fang Zhimin improve his conditions.

In order to torture Fang Zhimin, the enemy gave him a pair of very heavy shackles.

Ling Fengwu couldn't bear to see it, so he took the risk and put Fang Zhimin into a pair of lighter shackles.

Seeing Ling Fengwu's series of actions, Fang Zhimin couldn't help but sigh to him: "You are a good person, and you are not suitable to live in the officialdom of the Kuomintang."

He often persuaded Ling Fengwu that he should leave the complicated place of the Kuomintang. With Ling Fengwu's ability, he might be able to go home as a teacher and spend his life peacefully. This is a more suitable way of life for him.

Ling Fengwu has not forgotten a word of what Fang Zhimin said.

Ling Fengwu, who came from a humble background, joined the Kuomintang in order to make a living. He has been living in confusion for many years. But after meeting Fang Zhimin, Ling Fengwu understood that there was indeed a big difference between the Communist Party and the Kuomintang.

After Fang Zhimin's death, Ling Fengwu was investigated by the Kuomintang because of his close contacts with Fang Zhimin in the past.

But this was not a bad thing. The Kuomintang removed Ling Fengwu from his position. Ling Fengwu decided to listen to Fang Zhimin. He left the Kuomintang and returned to his hometown to become an English teacher.

However, Ling Fengwu has always had something on his mind.

Fang Zhimin died in mysterious circumstances. There was not even a grave. There has been no answer as to where his remains are.

Ling Fengwu hoped that his friend could be buried with dignity and enjoy people's memorial service.

Qingshan Buried Bones

Perhaps God heard Ling Fengwu’s prayer, so in 1957, people actually discovered Fang Zhimin’s remains. Ling Fengwu, who was in his hometown, was very excited when he received Fang Zhichun's letter. After explaining clearly, Ling Fengwu immediately set off for Jiangxi.

Ling Fengwu burst into tears when he saw that familiar land.

He is familiar with this place. It was a gloomy prison back then. After working here for many years, he has met many respectable and admirable revolutionary martyrs, and the faces of those people are still engraved in his mind.

At a glance among the bones, he recognized the pair of shackles he had put on Fang Zhimin. They were specially made by someone. They were much thinner than ordinary shackles. That was the only thing he could do for Fang Zhimin back then.

It was by relying on these shackles that Ling Fengwu determined that the body in front of him was Fang Zhimin, his friend who had been dead for many years.

After Fang Zhimin’s remains were found, they were not buried immediately due to delays due to various matters. However, comrades in Jiangxi Province have been doing their best to protect the remains of the martyr.

It wasn’t until 1965 that the country finally decided to bury Fang Zhimin’s remains in the Meiling area, where you can overlook Fang Zhimin’s hometown, with beautiful mountain scenery and lush vegetation. Bury Fang Zhimin here so that he can always look at the great rivers and mountains of the motherland.

Chairman Mao personally inscribed Fang Zhimin’s tombstone. Over the years, Chairman Mao has been thinking about this matter.

On the day Fang Zhimin was buried, his old friends came to witness this moment.

In the blink of an eye, the world has been turned upside down. Fang Zhimin has been gone for a long time. His life of more than thirty years is too short, but in people's hearts, he has never left.
