Since then, whenever I have free time, I have picked up my grandparents’ old belongings: old buttons, old sewing kits, old sewing machine needles, old baggage leather, old patches, old thread boards, old Shanghai watches...

I don’t know why, but I felt very uncomfortable when I saw this. Grandpa and grandma are my pride, but what is it about them that makes me proud and proud? Do I really know my grandpa and grandma? After
grew up and went to study and work in other places, he spent less time with his grandparents. Whenever he had the opportunity to talk to each other and listen to his stories, he learned more about his experiences. As a junior, what should I learn from them?
His kindness and passion for people? His dedication to work? His perseverance in the unbearable years? Is he not cynical when he is treated unfairly? Does he not get discouraged when he encounters setbacks in life? Is he not complacent about his career achievements? Or is it his love of reading? Love to study? And his helpful spirit that never changed throughout his life?
It can be said that there are many aspects that should be learned, but the fundamental learning is his mind, his love for people, his love for his career, and his love for society. This kind of love made him always open-minded and full of passion during his more than eighty years of life. He always has beautiful pursuits! It should be said that it is the education received by their generation that determines their correct world outlook, values and outlook on life.
Grandpa and grandma are loyal, righteous, cheerful, dedicated, upright, and aboveboard. We, the younger generation, will definitely remember them in our hearts, discipline ourselves, and work hard to achieve honors for our family and clan, while making contributions to the country and society. This is exactly why I want to help my grandparents write their memoirs.
