Although Li Shao didn't know about the rebellion, he was first imprisoned, then recalled to the capital, and removed from his official position. Much later, he was appointed as a general and master craftsman, and was ordered to participate in setting court etiquette and laws.

Later he became the governor of Jizhou . During his tenure, Li Shao performed very well and was rewarded by the emperor. He was promoted to the general of chariots and cavalry, and was given a pair of swords, a diaochan crown, a post horse, as well as clothes and sleeping supplies.

When Li Shao left his post as the governor of Jizhou, because there was no unrest in the state, the people were grateful to him and escorted Li Shao away spontaneously. Li Shao went to Zhongshan to take up a post and died in this post.

In April of the fifth year of Zhengguang (524), Li Shao died in office at the age of seventy-two. Posthumously, he was given the title of Shizhong, Chijie, Sanqi Changshi, Chaqi General, Sikong Gong, Yongzhou Governor, and his posthumous title was Wen Gong.

Although Li Shao passed away, the soldiers guarding Jingzhou were soldiers from Jizhou. When they passed by Li Shao's tomb when they went home, they all dug soil for his tomb. It can be seen that Li Shao did a lot of good things for Jizhou.

Because Li Shao had previously conquered and pacified the Qin and Long regions, during the reign of Emperor Xiaozhuang of the Northern Wei Dynasty, he was posthumously named the founding uncle of Ancheng County, with a settlement of 400 households.

Li Shao served for three dynasties. Although he was implicated, capable people will not be buried. If you serve as an official for one term, make decisions for the people, and gain the support of the people, you are a good official!
