After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Tao Zhu became a member of the Standing Committee of the National Political Bureau of the Central Committee because of his outstanding achievements. He was brave enough for the revolution. He had a brother named Tao Naicun. Th

1908 Tao Zhu was born in Qiyang, Hunan. His father was a member of Tongmenghui . He participated in Xinhai Revolution . After Tao's father was killed, the Tao family lived a hard life since then. Because his eldest brother Tao Naicun studied better, Tao Zhu followed his uncle to do a timber business to support his eldest brother in school.

In June 1926, with the support of his uncle and Mr. Liu, Tao Zhu was admitted to the fifth phase of the Whampoa Military Academy in line with his ideal of loyalty and serving the country. Tao Naicun was also admitted to this school. During this period, Tao Zhu's ideological realm jumped a lot. After the Nanchang Uprising, Tao Zhu followed the troops south and participated in the Guangzhou Uprising in December. He served as the chief of staff of the 4th Army Guard Regiment, one of the main forces of the uprising, and fought bloody battles until the end.

After the failure of the Guangzhou Uprising, Tao Zhu did not give up the struggle, but went to the mountains to fight guerrillas. In the spring of 1929, the Central Military Department notified Tao Zhu to go south again and organize local armed struggles to Xiamen . His action "Xiamen Break Prison" shocked the whole country and was made into the movie "Small City Spring and Autumn". Tao Zhu is the prototype of the hero of this movie.

1923 Tao Zhu met Chairman Mao for the first time, but this time he met a bit like "no one knows each other without fighting". In 1933, Tao Zhu was transferred to Shanghai by the Central Committee, which was a crucial turning point. Tao Zhu and his elder brother Tao Nicun were successively taken to prison as traitors, but Tao Zhu bravely withstood the coercion and temptation of Chiang Kai-shek at that time and was sentenced to life imprisonment. However, his elder brother defected to the Kuomintang and left the prison to become the county magistrate. It was not until the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party in 1937 that Tao Zhu was brought out by Li Kenong from the prison.

In December 1937, Tao Zhu was organized and sent to the Laoyuzhong base for guerrilla training classes. In early 1939, Tao Zhu's new fourth army's Hubei-Henan Border Region advance team was developed and strengthened into thousands of people. In 1940, Tao Zhu was transferred back to Yan'an by Chairman Mao.

During the Battle of Pingjin , Fu Zuoyi was convinced by Tao Zhu and the two became friends. In January 1950, Tao Zhu was urgently summoned by Chairman Mao to go to Guangxi to preside over the bandit suppression work. When he passed by his hometown, he went to see Tao Naicun, who returned to Xiao Zhang, who returned to the middle school after the founding of the People. Because Tao Zhu was strict with himself and compassionate with the people, his work in Guangxi also made smooth progress.

After taking charge of Guangdong for 15 years, Tao Zhu was transferred back to Beijing in 1966 and became a member of the Central Standing Committee. Later, he was dismissed because his elder brother Tao Naicun suddenly accused him of being a "traitor".

The hard and tortuous war never made Tao Zhu depressed. He was afraid of no matter how dangerous or difficult the task was. However, facing the accusation of his elder brother, he sat alone for several days, like a thunderclap, and was puzzled. In November 1969, Tao Zhu died in Hefei. His elder brother finally regretted it, but it was too late. Soon after, Tao Naicun also passed away.

A great hero left us like this. Comrade Tao Zhu of our party is loyal and upright. Looking at his life, he is tenacious and unyielding. There is no doubt that he is one of the best Communist Party members of our party and one of the senior leaders, and deserves it.

We now have such a peaceful and prosperous era, which is inseparable from the sacrifices and contributions of countless martyrs. We should remember them in mind and cherish them very much, remember the revolutionary martyrs from the heart, and have a heart of awe.
