On the hillside, at the door of an old house, a thin old man was waiting for him. From a distance, I walked forward and held the old man's hand tightly. After chatting, I learned that the 83-year-old man in front of me was a veteran of the fight against the United States and aided Vietnam, named Yang Changguo. Suddenly a heat filled my body and felt awe!
Some time ago, I watched the TV series " Crossing the Yalu River " almost every day. The tragic battle scenes of reinforcements made me cry. But many people still don’t know the heroic chapter of the heroic fight against the United States and aiding Vietnam at that time. In April 1965, the Vietnam Workers' Party requested China's support. Chairman Mao Zedong decided to provide Vietnam with comprehensive and selfless assistance. At that time, Yang Changguo was also sent to Vietnam. According to reports, Mr. Yang was an artillery soldier and suffered a brain injury. At this time, standing in the cold wind, I asked Mr. Yang what wishes he had for the government, but he replied that he was happy to think of his comrades who died in the past, who was alive and enjoyed the government's subsidies! In fact, Mr. Yang currently lives in an old house, and the road in front of the house has not been opened yet, so there are still difficulties. Veterans always maintain their true nature.
Coincidentally, Zhu Chengdong joined the army in 1993 and was honored to be discharged from the army in 2015. The military has not faded after being discharged from the army. The "Five Iron Spirits" given to Zhu Chengdong by the military camp has long been integrated into his passion and has gradually transformed into the " Red Rock Spirit " sentiment for the people.
Zhu Chengdong just came to Hongyan Village as the party branch secretary, facing the complicated rural construction , feeling the urgent desire of the villagers to a better life. Today I heard and witnessed that the quality of berry tea in Hongyan Village is particularly good, with high selenium-rich flavonoid content. It is a very distinctive and market-oriented industry. It must be bigger and stronger.
In recent years, I have often gone to towns and see the changes in the countryside. To be honest, grassroots work is indeed hard, which is a test for young comrades to take up their posts. Today in Hongyan Village, I met Xie Jian, the Party Secretary of Xujiafang Township for the first time. I had a good impression of it and changed my past views on individual township cadres. Today I learned that Xie Jian is a doctorate at Zhejiang University . He specializes in ecology. He is from Wangcheng, Changsha. He was born in 1982 and worked in Xujiafang for two years. The public has a high evaluation of him.
Since this year, Xujiafang has vigorously promoted the construction of rural revitalization workshop projects in the work of rural revitalization and increased the income of village collectives and people. After several months of hard work, the construction of this rural revitalization workshop with an investment of more than 5 million yuan has achieved stable employment for 216 people. Prosperity of industries is the prerequisite for solving all rural problems. In 2022, Xujiafang Township will take industrial development as the general approach and make precise efforts to ensure that the people continue to increase their income and become rich. Sometimes, we live a very tiring life, not because we live too harshly, but because we are too easily infected by the external atmosphere and influenced by the emotions of others.
