The Communist Party of China led the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army to shock the world, Long March , achieved a major turning point in the Chinese revolution from setbacks to victory, and wrote a magnificent chapter in the history of our party, army and the Chinese nation. The great Long March spirit was cultivated in the arduous struggle. This spirit is the spirit of taking the fundamental interests of the country and the nation above everything else, firmly firmly upholding the ideals and beliefs of the revolution, and firmly believing in the just cause. It is the spirit of saving the country and the people, not afraid of any difficulties and obstacles, and not willing to sacrifice all the sacrifices; it is the spirit of adhering to independence, seeking truth from facts, and starting from reality in everything; it is the spirit of taking the overall situation into consideration, strictly abide by discipline, and closely uniting; it is the spirit of relying closely on the people, dependent on life and death, sharing weal and woe, and working hard.
11934 Gannan , a team on the verge of despair set out from the Yudu River, stepped on their feet, went through hardships, walked through grasslands, crossed snow-capped mountains... Walked 25,000 miles in heavy troops, walked to northern Shaanxi, headed to the frontline of national salvation, and walked out of a new situation in the Chinese revolution. Central Red Army conducted more than 300 battles during the 367-day Long March, and there was an average of one encounter every day. On the 25,000 miles journey, I only had a rest of 44 days, and the average daily marching was 74 miles... All the Red Army traveled through mountains and rivers, climbed ice and lie down in snow, filled the grass roots, and filled the hunger with hunger. They fought bloody battles in the Xiangjiang River, four crosses of Chishui , flying to capture Luding Bridge , switch to Wumeng Mountain , forced crossing Jialing River , fierce battle in Dushu Town ... More than 100,000 Red Army commanders and soldiers sprinkled blood on the journey. Every change in strategic direction, the determination of every strategic task, and the success of every battle all reflect the spirit of "fairness" of the Chinese Red Army soldiers, not afraid of difficulties and difficulties, and perseverance. During the Long March, the Red Army soldiers faced a series of turbulent rivers, towering snow-capped mountains, and boundless grasslands. There were enemy troops in front and pursuers behind. But in this adversity of "the enemy's siege was siege thousands", the Red Army fought 25,000 miles and finally broke out from the 1 million enemies, composing a moving revolutionary movement of "permanent struggle".
The spirit of the Long March is the crystallization of suffering and an important product of revolutionary practice. Today, we should guide young college students to carry forward the great spirit of the Long March, be down-to-earth, and walk the Long March road of the new era.
Firm ideals and beliefs
Ideals and beliefs are people’s yearning and pursuit of the future, a concentrated reflection of their world outlook and political stance in their goals, and the highest criterion for establishing the value orientation of life. Once ideals and beliefs are formed, they will become the spiritual driving force that controls people's lasting actions. The Red Army soldiers went through hardships and finally met successfully, creating earth-shaking achievements. The primary reason is that they have the spirit of "revolutionary ideals are higher than heaven", they are extremely loyal to the revolutionary cause and unswerving belief in the victory of the revolution. It is precisely because of their lofty ideals and beliefs of communism that they firmly believe that the Chinese revolution will surely win and that communism will be realized, so they are invincible and persevere until the end. It is precisely with such belief that the Red Army soldiers have spiritual support and motivation to inspire them to overcome various difficulties and move forward bravely. Only when contemporary college students have lofty ideals and beliefs and firm career pursuits can they produce enduring motivation, not be defeated by the difficulties and setbacks in front of them, firmly pursue their value, strive to become talents, and contribute to society.
Cultivating the spirit of hard struggle
Hard struggle is a heirloom of the Communists, a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, and an important guarantee for realizing the Chinese dream . The history of the Red Army's Long March is the history of the hard struggle of the People's Army. During the Long March, the Red Army soldiers fought with the sky, the earth, the enemy, cut passes through the pass, and flew over the crossing. Inspired by the slogans "Climbing over the snow-capped mountains is victory" and "There is hope for you to walk out of the grassland", the Red Army soldiers defeated the snow-capped mountains and the grassland demon with amazing perseverance, showing the lofty spirit of revolutionary optimism. The history of the victory of the Long March shows that the style of hard work is an important magic weapon to overcome all difficulties.In the historical journey of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, it is of great practical significance to vigorously carry forward the fine tradition of hard struggle among the college student group. To cultivate the spirit of hard struggle for college students, , is the first thing to do is to inherit the revolutionary tradition.
