The real names of Yang Jian and Li Shimin
The reason why netizens raised this more interesting question is actually not without any basis. Netizens who can raise this question must have a certain understanding of history. After all, Yang Jian’s father Yang Zhong did use the name "Pu Liu Ru Zhong", and Li Shimin’s grandfather Li Hu did use the name "Da Yehu". So where did these two names come from? Could it be that the Yang Jian family and the Li Shimin family are indeed Xianbei people, so they use such a name?
In fact, these two names are derived from Yuwentai . Yuwentai is considered a descendant of the Xianbei people. The Xianbei people originally established Northern Wei . During the Emperor Xiaowen period, considering the development of the country and the integration of multiple ethnicities, Emperor Xiaowen proposed the "Sinicization Project" to gradually integrate the Xianbei people with Han people , and both bloodlines and culture were in a certain degree of Chineseization.

The easiest way to "turn the Han people into Xianbei" is to take the name of the Xianbei people. It is in this historical context that Yang Jian's father Yang Zhong and Li Shimin's grandfather Li Hu have the names of "Pu Liuru Zhong" and "Da Yehu".

Did the Sui and Tang Dynasties belong to the Xianbei regime?
