Xie Daoyun saw that the enemy was approaching the city, he was immediately anxious, persuading her husband many times to no avail, so he had to recruit personnel to train himself, hoping that in the future when the two armies were fighting, they would have some chance of winning.

But only with this strength, how can Sun En's tiger and wolf division resist? Kuaiji City is still lost. Within a day, Xie Daoyun lost her husband and children. Originally, Xie Daoyun and young grandson Liu Tao could not escape death. Fortunately, Sun En admired Xie Daoyun’s talent for a long time. He moved his compassion and did not take his life.

The death of her relatives dealt a great blow to Xie Daoyun. When she was sad, she turned grief into pen and thoughts into ink, imitating Ji Kang's "Youxian Poems" and created a poem "Imitated Ji Zhong San Yong Song" ：
