Feng Yuxiang
According to Feng Yuxiang's last wish, his ashes were buried on the east side of the Xixi Valley entrance on Taishan West Road, Shandong Province, across from the Xixi Valley entrance and Dazhong Bridge. On September 1, 1949, the first anniversary of Feng Yuxiang's death, a memorial service was held at Beijing University of Political Science and Law. After the founding of the New China Party, the central government attached great importance to the choice of Feng Yuxiang's funeral. After discussions with Feng Yuxiang's widow and others, it was finally decided to bury him in Tai'an, Shandong.

Feng's widow buried Feng Yuxiang's ashes in Mount Tai. She needed to send engineers to Mount Tai to survey and design, and then asked the Shandong Provincial Government to help start the construction.
In 1935, when Feng Yuxiang was in Mount Tai, he found that the local people's traffic at the entrance of Xixi Valley was blocked by the river, which was very inconvenient, so he funded the construction of this bridge and named it Dazhong Bridge.

Dazhong Bridge is an iron fence. It extends to the mouth of the valley and is a single-hole arch bridge. The bridge piers and bridge deck are stone arches. It is 5.45 meters high and 16.15 meters long. The bridge deck is 2.8 meters wide and 46.2 meters long. The bridge is built with iron railings. Building such a bridge required a lot of money at the time.

In order to build Feng Yuxiang’s tomb as well as possible, on July 2, 1952, the relevant national departments held a symposium on the engineering design of Feng Yuxiang’s cemetery. At the meeting, everyone put forward many opinions on the construction of Feng Yuxiang's cemetery and the design of the bronze statue, and engineers from the Shandong Provincial Construction Engineering Company were asked to redraw the drawings based on the opinions at the symposium.
was completed in 1952 after many modifications. In August of the same year, the Feng Yuxiang project officially started construction. There are 66 stone steps in Feng Yuxiang's cemetery, which represent the sixty-six springs and autumns that Feng Yuxiang went through in his life. It is divided into four levels to represent the four stages that Feng Yuxiang experienced in his life.

The first layer represents his transition from birth to the time when he was powerful in force, the second layer represents his transformation from youth to adulthood, and the third layer represents his transformation from a soldier to a staunch democracy fighter. The fourth layer depicts his indomitable fighting career in resisting Japan, fighting separatism, and striving for democracy and peace in the motherland.
On October 15, 1953, the burial ceremony of Feng Yuxiang’s ashes was held. Mr. Feng Yuxiang's tombstone is engraved with the title of Guo Moruo , seven golden characters and the font of Fen Yuxiang. Feng Yuxiang's ashes are placed in an urn in the cemetery. Feng Yuxiang's profile is inlaid on the wall, and his head is engraved in gilt relief.
