Wang Lanting (1865-1938) was originally named Xinling , with the nickname "Yunxiang", a native of Daniuji, Lu'an County [now Dingji Town, Yu'an District, Lu'an City, Anhui Province]. He passed the examination in the 14th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1888), and in the 15th year, he served as an examiner of the examination, editorial department, and editor-in-chief of the National History Museum. In the 29th year of Guangxu (1903), he was promoted to the Hanlin Academy. The emperor was appointed as a censor and was appointed as a censor. He was the literary attendant of Emperor Guangxu , and was from the second rank. In his "Digong Examination and Imperial Palace" written by Emperor Guangxu, he praised it: "The words are as clear as water, and the strokes are as sharp as swords." In the first year of Xuantong (1909), his father was mourned and returned to Lu'an to stay mourning for his mother. His sorrow was not over. The Xinhai Revolution broke out, the Qing Dynasty died, and the Republic of China was established. He wrote a poem saying: "Change the world and the world are upright, and the sun is sun-drilled." Then he settled in Lu'an City, and changed his name to the name of "Qiushi".

Lifetime

Divide your own fame and fortune, be at ease with your home, be content with the countryside, learn the garden and crops, and plant trees and flowers. Spring and Autumn Good day, you may stroll around Longtou and talk about mulberry and hemp with Tianfu Ye Lao; or kill chickens and buy wine, and invite poet friends and lyrics to discuss poetry and prose in detail. Expressing the interest of pastoral life, fresh and timeless. Poetry is like "The wind is sweeping the flowers on the wood door, and it is better to live in secluded families" [Tianjiale"], and the couplet is like "There are not many flowers, and the crane shoulders red rain; where is the poem's feelings? Achievement

In the Qing Dynasty, when selecting officials in the palace examination, calligraphy was an important criterion for measuring talents, and it also required a correct and correct "guard style". Therefore, the Jinshi has mastered excellent regular script skills since he was a scholar. Wang Lanting was good at calligraphy, and was also good at cursive scripts. This was his basic skill when he entered the official position and selected Hanlin. Hanlin Academy is the country's talent pool, and being selected as Hanlin is the supreme honor for students. Once a Jinshi is elected as a Hanlin, he is regarded as a prime minister. According to the Qing system, only by passing the imperial examination and passing the imperial examination can one enter the Hanlin realm, and only ministers from Hanlin origin are qualified to enter the cabinet as a Grand Secretary or become a chief official.
