In October 1976, the "Gang of Four" was finally shattered. After the news came out, the whole country celebrated. The main culprit Jiang Qing and others were arrested for review. In 1981, they were sentenced to death and probation for two years, and were later reduced to life imprisonment according to law. After that, Jiang Qing spent the rest of his life in prison.

Jiang Qing died on May 14, 1991 at the age of 77. From the perspective of "life is rare in seventy years", she is considered a long life. As the main culprit of the "Gang of Four", after many years of imprisonment, not many people care about the news of Jiang Qing's death.
However, Jiang Qing's only daughter Li Na is still alive, and her funeral is also left to her daughter Li Na to deal with. For this reason, Li Na is a little embarrassed. It turns out that Jiang Qing had instructed him before his death that he hoped to be buried back to his hometown in Shandong after his death. Jiang Qing's original name is Li Yunhe, and her hometown is Zhucheng, Shandong.
After Jiang Qing's death on the 14th, Li Na received a notice to sign a death notice in the hospital. Jiang Qing's body was sent to Babaoshan on the 18th for cremation. Li Na did not attend the scene on the day of cremation, and no other relatives were present. Jiang Qing's half-sister died in 1988.

After the cremation was completed, Jiang Qing's ashes were handed over to his daughter Li Na for custody. Li Na did not immediately bury him, but took him back to his home for custody. In 1996, the leader of Jiang Qing's hometown, , Zhucheng , learned about this situation and asked someone to tell Li Na that Zhucheng could accept Jiang Qing's burial.
Zhucheng said that the Phoenix Cemetery in the city can provide Jiang Qing with a cemetery or a monument. If Li Na agrees, Zhucheng can send a car to pick it up. This seems to be a good opportunity to let Jiang Qing be buried in her hometown and fulfill her last wish.
But Li Na did not do this. Li Na politely declined the kindness of the leader of Zhucheng. Later she revealed the inside story. Jiang Qing made a mistake back then, which harmed many people. Although there were many years, there were still people who were resentful towards her. Under such circumstances, it was not suitable to bury her mother in her hometown in Zhucheng.

Li Na felt that after his mother was buried in her hometown, she could not go back to guard the tomb. If the cemetery was destroyed, wouldn’t he be even more unfilial, so he politely declined Zhucheng’s kindness. Since then, Li Na has been storing his mother’s ashes at home for storage.
This aspect lasted for 11 years. Until later, a leader talked to Li Na. Li Na took the opportunity to make a request, hoping to bury his mother's ashes in Beijing. Later, it was approved. So Li Na and her husband Wang Jingqing began to find a suitable cemetery for Jiang Qing in Beijing.
After searching for it in multiple places, I chose Futian Cemetery in the western suburbs of Beijing. It is more famous among private cemeteries. Many celebrities are buried in this cemetery, such as the familiar Chinese master Wang Guowei and the famous physicist Qian Sanqiang and others, all of whom are buried here.
After the preparation of Li Na and her husband Wang Jingqing, in March 2002, Jiang Qing's ashes were officially buried in Futian Cemetery. The monument was erected. The name engraved on the monument was "Tomb of my mother Li Yunhe". The name "Jiang Qing" that is well-known to the world is not used to avoid causing trouble.

The erected monument did not leave a name, but only left the titles of "daughter" and "son-in-law". It has to be said that Li Na has good intentions and does not want her mother to be disturbed. Later, he was found out that Jiang Qing was buried here. What is even more surprising is that the straight-line distance of the cemetery is only 17 kilometers from the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, which may be just a coincidence.
