11 On November 8, 2019, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of my country was officially established in Beijing, and Premier Zhou also served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of . This was originally something that everyone expected, but when he announced the appointment of personnel, he said:
"The director of the confidential department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is Comrade Zhou Zhuan." There was a sudden discussion in the underground.
Who is Zhou Zhuan? Why can you hold this important position?
Premier Zhou smiled when he heard the following discussion and said:
"Zhou Zhuan is an old party member who has been engaged in intelligence work for a long time and has made great contributions to our party. He is an outstanding underground worker of our party."
What is the legendary color of Zhou Zhuan's experience? He was so praised by the Prime Minister!
1891, Zhou Zhuan was born in a poor peasant family in Changsha. The reason why he was able to go to school was because his parents saved money by spending money on one copper plate copper plate. Later, he was admitted to Changsha Normal School with his excellent grades and became Xu Teli's student.
Mr. Xu Teli We all know that he is one of the "Five Elders of Yan'an" and is the mentor of Chairman Mao and Tian Han. Under the influence of Xu Teli, Zhou Zhuan had the idea of education to save the country. After graduation, Zhou Zhuan worked as an education director in the local area.
During this period, Zhou Zhuan met a group of friends who changed their destiny, namely Mao Zedong, Cai Hesen, He Shuheng and others. These aspiring young people often discuss together, and gradually Zhou Zhuan realized that only revolution can save China.
In 1926, Zhou Zhuan joined the Communist Party of China. A year later, the " Horse Day Incident " targeting the Communists and revolutionary masses also occurred in Changsha. Zhou Zhuan, Xia Minghan and others were ordered to stay in Changsha to engage in underground work.
Zhou Zhuan and Xia Minghan are friends for many years. They are both from Hunan. During their days in Changsha, they always support each other and have a life-long friendship. In early 1928, the two were transferred to Hubei Provincial Party Committee to work at the same time.
This year, Wuhan betrayed the revolution with Wang Jingwei and others. The situation was very serious. Shortly after they were transferred to Wuhan, Xia Minghan was arrested by the Kuomintang reactionaries because of the betrayal of the traitor. He faced the enemy's severe torture, coercion and temptation, and did not compromise. He was finally brutally killed by the enemy in March 1928, and did not reveal any information until his death.
Faced with the sacrifice of his friends, Zhou Zhuan devoted himself to work before he could get out of his grief. Although he used his identity as a seal-engraving merchant as a cover-up, Xia Minghan's appearance had already given the Kuomintang reactionary crisis. They searched for our party members. One day in May, they arrested an underground traffic officer and found a blank letter with Zhou Zhuan's name written in his home.
In this way, Zhou Zhuan was also arrested by the enemy. Faced with all kinds of tortures from the enemy, he would rather die than surrender. In the end, because the enemy only speculated without any evidence and the help of the organization, Zhou Zhuan was able to escape. Although
saved his life, he was on the list, even though he had no information disclosed. However, the Kuomintang reactionaries have secretly set their sights on him, and if they continue to engage in underground intelligence work, there is a risk of exposure at any time. To this end, the organization sent him to Shanghai to be responsible for the protection of the Party Central Committee.
was organized to go to France to "study abroad" at the end of the year. In fact, studying abroad is just a guise for the outside world. Zhou Zhuan's real task is to organize an anti-imperialist alliance. After staying in France for half a year, Zhou Zhuan was arranged to work in Belgium again. After two years in Belgium, the Belgian authorities discovered that Zhou Zhuan was promoting communism and immediately deported him.
Zhou Zhuan had no choice but to leave Belgium and hike to Paris, France. After going through a lot of hardships, Zhou Zhuan finally found the party organization in Paris. Under the arrangement of the party organization, Zhou Zhuan came to the local Chinese restaurant "Wanhualou" in Paris to be the accountant.
In Paris, Zhou Zhuan secretly established an intelligence contact point and founded a newspaper to publish reading materials, revealing the truth about the invasion of China by the great powers and promoting communist ideas.

1939, a series of actions by Zhou Zhuan were noticed by the European Nazi forces. At the same time, the situation of the domestic war of resistance was critical. After the organization discussed, it decided to transfer Zhou Zhuan back to the country.
This time it has been in Europe for eleven years. In early 1940, 49-year-old Zhou Zhuan returned to China. His intelligence work abroad has gradually grown up. Now Zhou Zhuan is an intelligence officer with many years of underground work experience.
In May 1940, Zhou Zhuan was transferred to work in the Social Department of the Southern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. As soon as he took office, he received a job of rebellion. The target of rebellion was Zhou Guangya .
Zhou Zhuan quickly came into contact with Zhou Guangya through his identity as secretary of the General Management Office of the Alcohol Factory. After several meetings, Zhou Zhuan finally instigated Zhou Guangya and made great contributions.
In fact, in Chongqing, Zhou Zhuan's achievements are far more than this. For example, with Zhou Zhuan's planning and help, Shen Anna quickly became the secretary around Chiang Kai-shek. From then on, inquiring about intelligence is no longer a difficult task. Zhou Zhuan continued to travel between Changsha and Chongqing, maintaining an intelligence network with hundreds of people. His children also joined this difficult task under the influence of his father.
Even Zhou Zhuan’s eight-year-old daughter often helps her father to pass on intelligence. When the enemy’s searches are the most closely, a lot of intelligence was sent out by Zhou Zhuan’s eight-year-old daughter. The enemy would not have thought that an eight-year-old girl had such courage. Aren't they afraid? Maybe it’s scary, but there are many things that have transcended life and death.
In addition, in terms of instigation and rebellion, he actively developed the Kuomintang's intelligence network. For example, Zhou Maoseng , Zhou Guangya and others have become members of this intelligence network, allowing our party to learn about the latest information of the Kuomintang at the first time, providing a foundation for our party to implement the plan and retreat in a timely manner.
and the " Xinhua Daily ". You should know that in those difficult years, if you want to keep the Xinhua Daily running, you have to spend a lot of money, and most of these funds come from Zhou Zhuan. People inside know that Zhou Zhuan is the "treasury" of Xinhua Daily.

and above are all Zhou Zhuan's achievements in Chongqing, and it can be said that he is quite excellent. However, it is precisely because of these achievements that he will participate in the liberation of Changsha.
1948, with the PLA's multiple victories on the battlefield, it greatly boosted the morale of the army. Especially after the end of the three major battles of Liaoshen, Huaihai and Pingjin, the situation of the victory of the National Liberation War led by the Communist Party of China has been basically determined, and Cheng Qian also returned to Hunan to serve.
But at that time, the Hunan underground party did not have a radio station, and many important news could not be reported in time with the Party Central Committee, and they could not obtain notice from the Party Central Committee as soon as possible. Under such circumstances, the Party Central Committee decided to let the Shanghai Wu Kejian intelligence system send people to Changsha to establish a secret radio station and intelligence station in a short period of time.
After receiving the notice, they did not dare to delay for a moment, and immediately implemented it and participated in the instigation of Cheng Qian uprising. Under Zhou Enlai's instructions, Wu Kejian decided to hand over this important task to Zhou Zhuan.
On May 7, 1949, Zhou Zhuan flew from Shanghai to Changsha with translator Zhang Pu, while radio operator Zhao Hanlin was transferred to Changsha via Pan Hannian via Hong Kong.
After arriving in Changsha, Zhou Zhuan followed Li Kenong's instructions and resolutely cut off the relationship between the horizontal and the local party organizations, so as not to be destroyed by the enemy.
After investigation, Zhou Zhuan decided to build the radio station at the countryside home of the retired Kuomintang lieutenant general Zhou Qiduo . On the one hand, no one dared to investigate Zhou Qiduo's identity as a Kuomintang, and on the other hand, if he is in the countryside, he will not be easily destroyed by the enemy's monitoring signal machine.

After the establishment of the radio station, Zhou Zhuan began to collect intelligence collection as the content of his key work. After he arrived in Changsha, he successively mobilized intelligence teams including Huang Yong , Zhou Maoseng, etc., to collect various intelligence from Hunan from all aspects, such as the Kuomintang's troops, organization, mobilization and combat plans in Hunan, etc., as well as social public opinion, as long as it is useful, they are transmitted to the Party Central Committee by the secret radio station to be used as a reference for the liberation of Hunan.
In view of the frequent activities of the CCP in Hunan, Bai Chongxi quickly led the new Guangxi to retreat to Hunan. As the vanguard of anti-communist, it was impossible for the new Guangxi gang to surrender. Changsha suddenly caused a bloody storm and fell into a terrifying atmosphere.

On July 2, Zhou Zhuan found Cheng Qian with a reply from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. This telegram provided Cheng Qian with suggestions that "supervised cooperation in Hunan and Guangxi" and "(Cheng Qian) should strive to stay in Changsha as an internal response", and also expressed the expectations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
After establishing contact with the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Cheng Qian was deeply moved. He no longer hesitated and wavered, but firmly followed the Communist Party to peacefully liberate Hunan.
As for another important person Chen Mingren , Zhou Zhuan also won him with the help of Tang Shengming.
htmlOn August 4, Cheng and Chen announced the uprising, which also represents the successful and peaceful liberation of Changsha. When the People's Liberation Army entered the city, Zhou Zhuan took her youngest daughter Xiangtian to the street, standing in the crowd and cheering with everyone. In Xiangtian's memory, her father was a strong and calm person, and he almost never exposed his emotions. However, on the day of Changsha's official liberation, his father hugged her and cried bitterly.
When recalling this past, my daughter said: " In my memory, my father only shed tears twice in his life. "
The young daughter probably cannot understand that for her father, the liberation of Changsha means the realization of her ideal. From the day he left Changsha in 1928, twenty-year years have passed. Zhou Zhuan has never walked on the streets of his hometown so easily. It was not until this moment that Zhou Zhuan felt the joy of the wanderer returning home. His hometown was once in the midst of war, his youth was spent in displaced, and now he saved his suffering hometown from the shadows.
In 1952, Zhou Zhuan was appointed as deputy director of the General Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1954, Mr. Zhou, who was already in his prime, served as ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bulgaria. It was not until early 1958 that Zhou Zhuan, who was in a state of poor health due to hard work and was no longer optimistic, returned to his motherland and recuperated at home.
On July 23, 1977, Zhou Zhuan, who dedicated his life to the Communist Party of China, died of illness at the age of 86. Before his death, he mentioned the New China.
Zhou Zhuan's first half of his life can almost be said to have spent his underground intelligence work. The years of hidden identity have made many people unaware of his identity and how much effort he has devoted to the cause of the party, but he has never complained or deliberately demonstrated his achievements in front of others.
