Cheng Xunxuan was born in 1911 and is from Hong'an, Hubei. Hongan was formerly known as Huangan , and was renamed Hongan because of hundreds of generals from the Republic. In the 1920s and 1930s, many Hong'an people devoted themselves to the vigorous revolution, and Cheng Xunxuan was also one of them.

Unfortunately, they were killed by the enemy while fighting guerrilla warfare in Mulan Mountain. Her younger brother Cheng Qibo is also a member of the Red Army and also sacrificed his life for the revolution.

However, the happiness of the two did not last long. Due to the ambitions of Zhang Guotao and others, the Soviet area began the so-called anti-counterfeiting, and Cheng Xunxuan was also affected by this.
In 1932, Shuai Xu was still carrying out the fourth anti-"encirclement and suppression" campaign on the front line. He had not seen his wife for a long time. In addition, due to the tense war, he could not go home to visit Cheng Xunxuan and missed his wife very much.
When one day he marched to Qiliping, Huang'an County, where they were married, Xu Shuai fell in love with the scenery and remembered the wonderful time he was with Cheng Xunxuan. He asked the guards to take his broken socks and clothes to Cheng Xunxuan to make up for it.
In fact, Xu Shuai did this purpose. He usually sewed it himself, but this time he wanted to feel the warmth of his wife.
