"Traveling into the History of the Chinese Revolution" Diary - Chapter 259, 260, 263, 266, 270, 274 days

Organize Chen Yun's route from Tianquan-Xingjing to Chengdu to Chongqing, and pass (I): On June 2, 1935, the Central Red Army all crossed the natural dangerous Dadu River, set out from Luding City, and continued northward. Then the Red Army defeated the blockade of the Sichuan Army Yang Sen's unit in Tianquanhe and occupied Tianquan, Lushan, Baoxing and other counties.

Just when the Central Red Army passed by Lingguan Town, Baoxing County, the Central Committee decided to "Luding Conference" Chen Yun left the Red Army to Shanghai to restore the underground party organization. The Sichuan underground party organization specially arranged for Xi Maozhao, an underground party member who was familiar with the situation in Sichuan (his public identity is the principal of Lingguandian Primary School) and Chen Liang, a native of Mianning, to escort Chen Yun out of Sichuan.

organized Chen Yun left Sichuan, from Tianquan - Xingjing to Chengdu to Chongqing, and passed (2): The drizzle was drizzling and the sky was dull. Chen Yun, Xi Maozhao and Chen Liang disguised themselves and left the Red Army's Long March team. They were preparing to detour Xingjing County and go through Ya'an to Chengdu and Chongqing. In order to avoid the enemies pursuing the Red Army, they walked from the path to Xingjing. Not long after he walked, someone came from behind and saw that he was covered in mud and panicked, running out of breath.

It turned out that this person was a landlord in Xingjing. He was the director of the Tianquan County Education Bureau of the Kuomintang at that time. He was arrested by the Red Army when he was preparing to flee to Xingjing. The central government believed that the director of the Kuomintang Tianquan County Education Bureau could help Chen Yun and others pass through Xingjing safely, so the Red Army took him to Lingguan Hall. After Chen Yun, Xi Maozhao and Chen Liang left Lingguan, they deliberately let him escape. Seeing the Education Director coming, Xi Maozhao took the initiative to talk to him, saying that they fled to avoid the Red Army. Of course, the Education Director believed it. So the four of them walked together.

Organize Chen Yun's exit from Sichuan, from Tianquan - Xingjing to Chengdu to Chongqing, and pass (three): From Lingguan to Xingjing, there are all mountains. Chen Yun and his friends crossed mountains and ridges, avoiding the enemy's pursuit many times. The Education Director is very familiar with local migrants along the way, so he travels with him, and the migrants politely let them go wherever they go. The next day, Chen Yun and his team arrived in Xingjing successfully. Afterwards, Chen Yun disguised himself as a businessman in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Of course, Chen Yun, a guy from Shanghai Commercial Press, is familiar with the business of business and speaks jargon. In addition, Xi Maozhao knew the local situation well and was very smart. The three of them passed through Ya'an smoothly and arrived in Chengdu safely a few days later.

Diary of

Chen Yun and Xi Maozhao and Chen Liang who were escorting him out of Sichuan were in Chengdu. Chen Yun took a handwritten letter from Liu Bocheng and came to the home of Hu Gongzhu, Liu Bocheng's friend and director of Meifeng Bank. Hu Gongzhu was very surprised. On the one hand, he was impressed by Chen Yun's courage, but also worried about Chen Yun's safety. Hu Gongzhu told Chen Yun that the news in Chengdu is very tight and it is not advisable to stay for a long time.

At that time, Chiang Kai-shek was afraid that the Red Army would enter the hinterland of Sichuan to move, so he came to Chengdu in person. He was on high alert. Passers-by must be investigated closely, and police often broke into residents' homes at night to check their household registration. In this case, if you are not careful, you may cause death. So, Chen Yun left the Hu family the next day and went to Chongqing. He asked Chen Liang to stay in Chengdu as agreed. After he left Sichuan, he published Liao Jiajun's revelation in the Xinxin News Agency (Chengdu Chunxi Road): On the way to the province, Jiajun lost a dentin seal and a text "Liao Jiajun Seal" was "Seal of Liao Jiajun" and was hereby declared that it would be invalid.

Ya'an has a long history and was included in the jurisdiction of the Central Plains dynasty in the pre-Qin period. Ya'an City is located at the intersection of Sichuan-Tibet and Sichuan-Yunxi Highways, 140 kilometers away from Chengdu. The starting point of the tea and horse road on the south China road, Mengding Mountain Tea is imported into the Tibetan area through the tea and horse road. It is a special commodity for the central government in history to conduct tea and horse trade with ethnic minorities such as Tibetan and Qiang, and has become an important link for the Han people to enhance political, economic and cultural exchanges with people of all ethnic groups such as Tibetan and Qiang.

The Red Army's Long March has been active in the Ya'an area for more than five months, and its footprints have spread across towns and counties. The classic deeds of the Red Army's Long March have taken place in the Ya'an area, including the feint attack on Dashu Fort, attacking Anshunchang at night, forcing the Dadu River, crossing Jiajin Mountain, and Chen Yun's out of Sichuan.

Chen Yun's route out of Sichuan - Day 270 - Day 270 - Chen Yun's route out of Sichuan - Dayi County. Dayi County is located in the transition zone from the Chengdu Plain to the northwest Sichuan Plateau, bordering the Qionglai Mountains. Xiling Snow Mountain in the county, the highest peak, the Heavy Snow Pond, is 5,353 meters above sea level, and is covered with snow all year round. Under the sunlight, it is white and crystal clear, silver, and beautiful. Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, praised this scene and wrote the quatrain "The window contains the snow in the west ridge for thousands of years, and the door moored to the ships of the East Wu for thousands of miles."

Chen Yun's route out of Sichuan - Xinjin County. Xinjin was named after the Northern Zhou Dynasty and is one of the birthplaces of ancient Shu civilization in the Chengdu Plain. There is a strange Sichuan dish here - yellow spicy diced rice. Huang La Ding is a fish that lives in turbulent and clear streams. It is produced in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River and is scientifically known as the Yellow Cypress.

Chen Yun and his team were not clear whether they were walking or taking a car from Tianquan, Ya'an to Chengdu, so it is not clear yet, so it is necessary to verify the history of Chengdu to Ya'an and Kangding Highways in 1935: According to the "Sichuan-Yunnan Border Affairs Archives at the end of the Qing Dynasty" and other relevant materials, the construction of the Sichuan-Kang Highway began in the 33rd year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (1907). At that time, the Sichuan-Yunnan Border Affairs Minister and the Governor of Nursing Sichuan, Zhao Erfeng, built a mule and horse carriage lane from Chengdu to Kangding on the grounds of "governing the border", with a budget of 200,000 taels of silver. The selected route was from Ya'an through Xiaohechang in Xingjing, and through Pumaidi and Longbapu to reach Kangding. The purpose was to avoid the two mountains, Daxiangling and Feiyueling. However, due to the lack of talent for surveying and road construction projects at that time, construction started blindly without surveying. Later, Zhao Erfeng was transferred but failed to build a road.

1912, the Chengya section of the Sichuan-Kang Highway began to be prepared for construction. Later, the Sichuan-Kang Highway was shut down. In the past 10 years, due to unmanaged management, the widening part of the road sections that have been built has been reborn as farmland. In 1925, Liu Chengxun, commander of the 23rd Army of the National Government, decided to build Chengma Road in order to consolidate the military needs of the defense zone. In December, Chengkang Road held a groundbreaking ceremony at the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu, and 40 kilometers of Chengdu-Xinjin Tu Road were completed in the autumn of the following year. Construction of the three sections from Xinjin to Qionglai, Qionglai to Mingshan, and Mingshan to Ya'an was started simultaneously. In 1927, before the Chengkang road construction was completed, Liu Chengxun was defeated by Liu Wenhui's troops in the 24th Army, and the power was opened to the ground, and the road construction project was stopped. In the same year, Liu Wenhui established the Kangma Road General Administration in Qionglai, and only 41 kilometers of Xin and Qiong sections were opened for 10 months. Chengya Road is 15l kilometers long and was built twice by the "Two Lius". It took nearly 8 years to distribute nearly 400,000 taels of silver before it could barely be opened. The roadbed is generally about 7 meters wide, with gravel pavement, with many bends and narrow roads, and Fengchang Town passes through the streets.

In May 1935, in order to intercept the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army that intercepted the Long March, Chiang Kai-shek flew to Chengdu to supervise the war, listed the Sichuan-Kang Highway as a war transport trunk line and built it within a specified period of time. In August, the General Administration of Highways sent engineer Hong Wenyu to first survey the route from Ya'an through Xingjing to Luding. Later, Chiang Kai-shek Xingying Highway Supervision Office sent engineer Wang Yongsheng to survey the route from Ya'an to Luding to compare. Then Chiang Kai-shek sent American technical specialist Kanehao to re-examine the line: from Ya'an to the west, then through Feixian Pass to Lianglu intersection, turn to southwest, then cross Erlang Mountain, then through Ganhaizi to Luding, and cross Dadu River through Lengzhu Pass to Kangding, with a total length of 224 kilometers.
