When did you start to be interested in history?
I just want to simply understand some small knowledge such as major historical stories, but I can't read professional books. What do you think?

has it! CITIC Publishing House has a set of books called "History Temperature ". The author is Zhang Wei, a master of mantou. He is good at looking back at history through the details of characters and events, and then telling history in his own language. After you read his books, you can learn some allusions and increase your knowledge.
With the recommendation of a friend, I read the first book in the "Temperature of History" series. This book has more than 500 pages, using my preferred naked spine locking thread. Each page can be tiled 180°, and has a great reading feeling. The content in the book is divided into three parts:
