Zhou Yu ( Zhou Lang , 175-210), whose courtesy name is Gongjin , is from Shu County, Lujiang County, and is a famous general in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. He was born in the Lujiang Zhou family, and his son of Luoyang Ling Zhou Yi , his grandfather Zhou Jing , and his uncle Zhou Zhong, both of whom served as the Grand Marshal. He is strong and has a good appearance and melody. Jiangdong has the saying "There is a mistake in the song, Zhou Lang is a man."
In official history, he said that he was "superbent" and "really a genius". Sun Quan praised Zhou Yu for having "the resources of Wang Zuo", and Fan Cheng praised him as "a hero in the world, and a romantic and beautiful husband." At the age of 21, he followed , Sun Ce to pacify Jiangdong. In 208, Zhou Yu led his army to join forces with Liu Bei and defeated Cao's army in the Battle of Red Cliffs , thus laying the foundation for "three-point division of the world". In 209, he was appointed as the general and was appointed as the prefect of Nanjun . He died of illness in Baqiu in 210. When Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty was 2, he was respected as Pinglubo, and he was ranked among the 64 generals of the Tang Wu Temple and one of the 72 generals of the Song Wu Temple.
"Why do you have a good life?" This sentence is so classic. It describes Zhou Yu's indignation after hearing his own strategy, Zhuge Liang's guessed it. In addition, he was "antied to death" at a young age. Although he was a general of a generation, he was also covered with a narrow mind and extremely small image.
died of illness
In historical records, Zhou Yu should have died of illness, but in "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Zhou Yu's death was related to Zhuge Liang. According to the story in "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Zhuge Liang used three tricks to piss Zhou Yu to death. However, we do not have any definite evidence of the cause of death of historical figures, and we can only draw a relatively reasonable conclusion based on history or legends.
Historical Book Three Kingdoms This is the record of Zhou Yu's death: Yu returned to Jiangling, and was in a suit, but Taoist died of illness in Baqiu at the age of 36. It means: Zhou Yu returned to Jiangling to prepare, but died of illness while passing by Baqiu, at the age of 36.

There are at least two statements about Zhou Yu's death:
1. Zhou Yu's arrow has not been completely cured, and the wound has worsened and died after the infection occurs. According to the Three Kingdoms, Yu personally crossed the horse and slapped the dragon, and he would hit the right side of the arrow. He had a severe soreness and returned. It means: Zhou Yu personally rushed his troops to attack, but was shot into the right rib by a runny arrow. He was seriously injured and retreated. The Battle of Red Cliff occurred in December 208. After Zhou Yu severely attacked Cao Cao, he immediately launched the Battle of Nanjun to siege Cao Ren. It took a year to go to Zhou Yu to get the arrow before he agreed to a decisive battle with Cao Ren, about October 209. After that, Zhou Yu was in the war and was unable to recover from his injuries, resulting in the worsening of his injuries. He died suddenly while preparing for the Western Expedition to Yizhou in 210. This statement is also a matter of fact.
2. Zhou Yu died suddenly due to an epidemic disease. We know that during the Battle of Red Cliff, many soldiers under Cao Cao were infected with diseases or plagues. What was the specific disease? Don't know, no record. Under the medical conditions at that time, many diseases were untreated, and Zhou Yu might also be infected with this disease, resulting in death while preparing to go on the journey. Historical books also use the disease to kill Zhou Yu.
