There is a custom of celebrating the New Year in our country. No matter whether you have money or not, or how far away you are, you must go home to reunite with your relatives as long as conditions allow. The wanderer's heart is wherever his home is. In people's concepts, relatives are very important.
However, people's birth, old age, sickness and death are a natural law. Once their relatives are gone and die, how do people express their longing for their relatives? In the past, people mostly buried in the land after their deaths, and there is a saying that "being buried in peace". The burial place is called a grave. There is a tombstone in front of the grave, with the names of relatives engraved. Whenever people miss their deceased relatives, they will go to the grave to take out the food they liked to eat before their lives to worship, and then clean the tombstone. Our name is to sweep the grave. According to legend, it was the "tomb sacrifice" ceremony of ancient emperors and generals, and it first began in the Zhou Dynasty. Since people value ancestor worship so much, they will naturally pay great attention to the location of the burial, and there will be many considerations. In the past, the ancients would link the fortune of a person or a family with the location of the ancestors' burial, so there were sayings such as "the ancestors were smoking", "the ancestors accumulated virtue", "the unfilial sons and grandchildren", etc. In fact, these have no scientific basis. It was just that people at that time did not understand certain phenomena and found an excuse.
Of course, there will also be many common sayings about this, such as "There are three symbols of graves, wealth and auspiciousness", "The dead trees in front of the grave must move the grave", "Don't change the door if you are poor, and you won't move the grave if you are rich", etc. We know that common sayings are summaries of the life experience and personal practice of the ancients. For future generations, they are either warnings or seeing the big truth from small things. We later generations think they are useful and learn from them, and they think they are useless to ignore them, and do not care too much. Without the ability to change one's current situation, it is too unreliable and absurd to completely pin the fate of an individual or a family on the repair door.
