One day, a little boy passed by. Seeing that the little boy had wisdom, Lu Dongbin wanted to save him, so he took out a dumpling containing golden elixir and handed it to the little boy for food.
But the dumplings were too hot. The little boy couldn't stand it after taking a bite and spit it into West Lake. At this time, an old turtle swam over. When he was about to stutter, the snatched little water snake swallowed it into his belly.
It turns out that this little boy is the predecessor of Xu Xian , and the little water snake is the White Snake who will achieve success in the future. The old turtle became Fahai because it hated the water snake robbed the golden elixir back then. There is a story about the legend of the White Snake.
This story is fake at first glance. But this story also reflects Lu Dongbin's huge influence among the people at that time. It is precisely because of this that everyone is fascinated by his life experience until his tomb was discovered and another bizarre thing happened.
In the 1950s, my country began to build Sanxia Reservoir . The increase in water level caused by the construction of the reservoir will flood some buildings and farmland along the river. The Yongle Palace built to worship Lu Dongbin is in such a position. After consultation by relevant departments, the
decision will be made to relocate Yongle Palace 1:1. That is, every original of the building must be marked with a number and then restored one by one according to the number. At that time, the country attached great importance to this migration, and lasted for seven years.
