The mantis is acting like a chariot.
At the age of three, Puyi took over the precarious Qing Dynasty in 1908 on the orders of the Empress Dowager Cixi.
The Revolution of 1911 broke out in 1911. Puyi was forced to abdicate in 1912. The Qing Dynasty was officially declared destroyed. Puyi was only five years old when he abdicated. Although the ups and downs in the subsequent decades may have made him forget it. He has lost his memory as an emperor, but he who once had the status of an emperor is destined not to live like an ordinary person.
After the fall of the Manchu , Yuan Shikai did not drive Puyi out, but allowed him to continue to live in the palace.
From then on, Puyi lived the life of a puppet emperor.
It was not until 1924 that Puyi was driven out of the Forbidden City by Feng Yuxiang, and he was not allowed to take away anything inside.
Then the September 18th Incident broke out, and Puyi became the puppet emperor of Manchukuo again under the control of the Japanese.
It was not until Japan surrendered in 1945 and was captured by the Soviet Union that his absurd dream of becoming an emperor ended.
Puyi was imprisoned until 1959, when he regained his freedom.
At this time, Puyi actually had very little memory of the palace. He became a real ordinary citizen. He was assigned to work as a ticket seller and gardener in Beijing Animal and Vegetable Oil. He commuted to and from get off work normally every day, and even went to the Forbidden City once with his friends.
even bought a ticket.
After Puyi entered the Forbidden City, he looked around. When he walked to the palace of Emperor Guangxu5, he discovered something was wrong. The sword that guarded the house was in the wrong position. It must not be hung casually to ward off evil spirits.
Puyi was silent at first, until he saw the portrait in the palace, he finally couldn't help it, and said, "This is not the portrait of Guangxu, this is the portrait of Prince Chun."
The staff was very disdainful at first, saying that they would just follow you It felt like he had seen a real person. It wasn't until he knew Puyi's true identity that he knew he had really seen a real person.
So the staff quickly called in an expert from the Forbidden City, and Puyi corrected the mistakes.
From then on, Puyi never went to the Forbidden City again for some unknown reason, perhaps because he was hurt by the scene.
Until 1967, Puyi died in Beijing at the age of 61.
