In 1944, Xie Hanguang was assigned to work on a farm in Guilin. During this period, he gradually transformed into a progressive and began to have frequent contact with the Communists. Later, he simply donated his residence as an underground contact point for revolutionaries to use.
At the end of 1944, the Japanese army occupied Guilin, and Xie Hanguang was forced to flee to Sichuan. Later, after being introduced by the Communists, he joined a primary school to teach, which temporarily alleviated his financial difficulties. In 1945, Japan was driven out of China. Xie Hanguang returned to his hometown happily, only to find that the once peaceful and peaceful village had long turned into ruins. His relatives and friends have long since disappeared, leaving him alone with nowhere to go.
At this time, a teacher who had taught Xie Hanguang invited him to work in Taiwan, and Xie Hanguang immediately embarked on the road south. When he traveled to Hong Kong, he met a gentle and pleasant girl. They fell in love at first sight and soon became husband and wife. After having a family, Xie Hanguang no longer wants to go to Taiwan, but plans to stay in Hong Kong for development.
