After participating in the revolution, Zhu Chenzhi gave herself a common and easy-to-remember name - Zhu Feng. Of course, sometimes she would also use the name Zhu Chenzhi to carry out revolutionary activities. This was also her "revolutionary martyr" The name on the "certificate of sacrifice".

In 1914, Zhu Feng entered the local senior girls' primary school; in 1921, Zhu Feng entered the Ningbo Women's Normal School. If she had been born in a peaceful era, Zhu Feng would probably have lived a happy life. However, it is a pity that she lived in the "most critical" era of the Chinese nation. Zhu Feng's classmate and friend Chen Xiuliang was her revolutionary "enlightener". The two discussed the current situation together, understood the social situation, and yearned for a brand new society.



In 1925, the "May 30 Massacre" occurred in the Shanghai Concession. As soon as the news came out, patriots across the country were filled with grief and anger. Zhu Feng even took the lead in participating in demonstrations to protest against such brutal acts.

In 1926, Zhu Feng graduated from Ningbo Zhuzhou Normal School and followed his family's arrangements to marry Chen Shouqing, an engineer at the Fengtian Arsenal at the time. He married in the Northeast and gave birth to a daughter.

Not long after, the "September 18th Incident" broke out, and the Japanese occupied the three eastern provinces of . Faced with the brutal atrocities of the Japanese army, the couple decided to take their children back to Zhenhai to seek refuge.

Perhaps because of the constant blows in life, Chen Shouqing died of illness not long after, leaving behind Zhu Feng and several children. Among them, there are two daughters born to Chen Shouqing and his first wife. However, Zhu Feng has always treated them as his own children without any bias.

Fighting on the secret front for the revolution

In 1937, the "July 7 Incident" broke out, and the Chinese nation reached its most dangerous moment. Zhu Feng resolutely abandoned his comfortable life, broke through the shackles of the feudal family, and joined the ranks of anti-Japanese and national salvation.



Zhu Feng sold all the epigraphy, calligraphy, paintings, and handicrafts he had collected for many years, and donated all the proceeds to the Anti-Japanese War activities. After donating, Zhu Feng also mobilized relatives and friends to publicize the anti-Japanese war and rescue compatriots who were bombed by Japanese planes, which promoted anti-Japanese activities in the Zhenhai area.

Moreover, Zhu Feng also set up a "Zhenhai Craft Training Institute" at home to take in refugees and teach them skills so that they could have something to eat in the future.

In the process of organizing anti-Japanese activities, Zhu Feng met Zhu Xiaoguang, a passionate young man who had the same ambition as her. The two were very compatible and were revolutionary comrades, and they soon became married.



At that time, Zhu Xiaoguang was already a member of the Communist Party, and the combination of the two brought Zhu Feng closer to the Communist Party.

After that, Zhu Feng sold off his property many times and donated money and materials to the revolution. In early 1938, Zhu Feng donated 500 yuan to Xinzhi Bookstore in Wuhan to support the development of the party's publishing industry.

The next year, Zhu Feng donated another 800 yuan to the Taiwan Anti-Japanese Volunteer Team, which solved the volunteer team's urgent need. Moreover, Zhu Feng also sent his daughter Zhu Xiaofeng to the Youth League of the Taiwan Anti-Japanese Volunteer Corps, while he and her husband went to the anti-Japanese front line.

For a period of time, Zhu Feng and his wife opened the "Army Bookstore" with the New Fourth Army, which was mainly responsible for printing the New Fourth Army's military teaching materials and promotional materials. The superiors discovered that the two were quite talented in underground work, so they were recruited into the Special Section of the Communist Party of China to engage in underground work.

This was a hidden battlefield, but Zhu Feng and Zhu Xiaoguang were not afraid. They traveled all over the country and cooperated with local comrades to secretly purchase a large amount of supplies for the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army.

During an operation, Zhu Xiaoguang was unfortunately arrested. However, Zhu Feng stayed calm in the face of danger and entered Shangrao Concentration Camp three times under the instructions of his superiors. Not only did he unknowingly deliver special medicine to his seriously ill husband, but he also assisted The husband and his cellmate managed to escape.

In 1944, Zhu Feng was unfortunately arrested while participating in the preparatory work for the "Tongfeng Trading Company" of Xinzhi Bookstore's Shanghai office. Faced with severe torture by the Japanese army, Zhu Feng was not afraid of sacrifice and would rather die than surrender, without revealing any information about the organization.

Later, after organizing a rescue, Zhu Feng was released from prison. But she risked her life and quietly sneaked into the sealed store and retrieved the deposits, check books, and account books in order to provide the comrades with funds for transfer. This move moved the comrades.

In 1945, after a long period of testing and the introduction of two party introducers, Zhu Feng finally became a member of the Communist Party as he wished. After joining the party, Zhu Feng felt that her mission was arduous, and she continued to work on the revolution wholeheartedly.

In this year, Zhu Feng was ordered to be transferred to Hong Kong to carry out financial and secret transportation work. He worked there for four years and successfully completed the tasks assigned by the organization.

On October 1, 1949, New China was founded, but Zhu Feng's work was not over yet. Zhu Feng continued to perform tasks in Hong Kong. In November 1949, Zhu Feng ended her work in Hong Kong and was preparing to return to the mainland to reunite with her family. But at this time, she received a new task.

In order to successfully liberate the Taiwan area, the country decided to send experienced comrades to move to Taiwan and cooperate with the "Secretary of National Defense" General Wu Shi and the head of Taiwan Province of China "Old Zheng" Cai Xiaoqian who were stationed in Taiwan by our army to obtain intelligence. .



After receiving the assignment from the organization, Zhu Feng wrote a letter to his family without saying a word, and then turned around and went to Taiwan.

Zhu Feng was indeed a good candidate to carry out this task at that time, because her stepdaughter Chen Lianfang (nicknamed Aju) happened to send her a letter, saying that her child was about to be born, and she wanted Zhu Feng to go to Taiwan to reunite with her family.

With the "entrance permit" sent by Aju to enter Taiwan, Zhu Feng went to Taiwan to carry out the secret work of transmitting intelligence.

As soon as he arrived in Taiwan, Zhu Feng met Lao Zheng. Lao Zheng was an old revolutionary who had participated in the Long March , and Zhu Feng trusted him very much. Lao Zheng also provided Zhu Feng with a lot of important top-secret information. A few days later, Zhu Feng met General Wu Shi again. His code name was "Secret Envoy No. 1."



General Wu Shi made great contributions to the People's Liberation Army's successful crossing of the Yangtze River and the liberation of Shanghai. Moreover, after arriving in Taiwan, he used his status as "Deputy Minister of National Defense" to collect a number of important intelligence on Taiwan's defense, and The number, numbers and codes of each unit of the "National Army" are core secrets.

After contacting Zhu Feng, General Wu Shi immediately handed the information to Zhu Feng and told her to send the information to the mainland as quickly as possible.

Three days later, Zhu Feng sent the first batch of top-secret information to the East China Front Command and the Central Military Commission General Staff Department. When this top-secret information was placed on the chairman's desk, the chairman was also surprised and said that he would make a great contribution to Zhu Feng and others.



During more than two months in Taiwan, Zhu Feng secretly delivered a lot of important information, successfully completed the tasks assigned by the organization, and prepared to leave Taiwan and return home.

At that time, Zhu Feng wrote to her friends in Shanghai saying that she would return home within the month and expressed her longing for her family. But what no one expected was that Zhu Feng would never have the chance to see his family and children again.

On February 2, 1950, General Wu Shi made an emergency meeting with Zhu Feng and told her that the Taiwan Provincial Working Committee of the Communist Party of China was uncovered by the Kuomintang authorities and Lao Zheng was arrested. Moreover, he had no revolutionary integrity of the old revolutionaries and the old Red Army, and he rebelled within a week. , not only exposed many communists in Taiwan, but also exposed Zhu Feng.



Due to Lao Zheng's rebellion, Taiwan's underground organizations suffered devastating damage. More than 1,800 underground intelligence personnel were brutally murdered by the Kuomintang authorities.

General Wu Shi asked Zhu Feng to leave Taiwan quickly, but at that time the routes from Taiwan to Hong Kong had been blocked, and only one military plane could fly to Zhoushan Dinghai Airport.

General Wu Shi immediately took the risk and issued a "special pass" to Zhu Feng, allowing her to board a plane to Zhoushan 2 days later and try to return to the mainland.

But unfortunately, Lao Zheng soon betrayed General Wu Shi. The Kuomintang authorities found the "special pass" issued by General Wu Shi at his home, and quickly arrested General Wu Shi and others, and A large-scale manhunt was launched in Zhoushan, and Zhu Feng was eventually arrested in Dinghai .



Although he fell into the hands of the Kuomintang, Zhu Feng still had firm faith and would rather die than surrender. In Dinghai prison, he attempted to commit suicide by swallowing gold to prove his ambition.

But the patrolling enemies discovered something unusual about Zhu Feng, and immediately sent Zhu Feng to the Taipei Veterans General Hospital by military plane for rescue. After the rescue, the Kuomintang tortured Zhu Feng, both hard and soft, but Zhu Feng always strictly kept the party's secrets and did not reveal anything. Even the Kuomintang called her "strong party spirit and excellent academic ability" in internal documents.

Because they failed to obtain any useful information from Zhu Feng, the Kuomintang secretly executed Zhu Feng, General Wu Shi and others on June 10, 1950. Zhu Feng died heroically after shouting "Long live New China". He was only 45 years old. age.



60 years later, the spirit finally returned to its hometown

In the late 1990s, Zhu Feng’s daughter Zhu Xiaofeng saw the remains of General Wu Shi buried in the mainland and felt that she might have hope of finding the remains of her mother.

In 2001, Zhu Xiaofeng saw a book called "Old Photos", which published the article "The War After the War" written by Taiwanese writer Xu Zongmao, which described the "Wu Shi Case" and also issued a copy of Zhu Feng's execution Historical photos from that time.

This was the first time Zhu Xiaofeng saw her mother in the past 50 years, and it was also the first time she saw the scene at that time, which made her full of emotions.



In 2003, Zhu Xiaofeng, who was over seventy years old, made a special trip to Shanghai to visit Mr. Xu Zongmao and asked him to help find his mother's remains. He also provided clues that it was said that the ones who collected the mother's body were his brother-in-law Wang Changcheng and his sister Aju in Taipei.

Xu Zongmao agreed immediately. After returning to Taiwan, he immediately took Zhu Xiaofeng's power of attorney and began to search for him. He also sought help from the society through newspapers and media in Taiwan and Hong Kong, but found nothing.

It was not until 2005 that Lin Zhengxiu, who had been the "Civil Affairs Director" of Taipei City, helped find clues at the request of Xu Zongmao. He said that Wang Changcheng had passed away, but Aju was still alive and living in a nursing home in Taiwan.

Xu Zongmao and Lin Zhengxiu immediately went to visit Aju. At that time, Aju was 85 years old, but her face was rosy and she seemed to be in good health.



Xu Zongmao said straight to the point that he was asked by Zhu Xiaofeng to come to visit, but Aju denied that she had a sister. When mentioning her stepmother Zhu Chen, Aju said that Zhu Chenzhi had nothing to do with them. Relationship, their family is the Kuomintang.

Aju also said that after Zhu Chenzhi was shot, the government disposed of his body, and they had no knowledge of this matter.

Xu Zongmao thought that his search had failed again, so he called Zhu Xiaofeng to explain the matter. But Zhu Xiaofeng said that she could understand A Ju's rejection, and asked Xu Zongmao to tell A Ju that her biological sister Chen Lanfang was in Beijing and was 88 years old and wanted to see her again.



So, Xu Zongmao rushed to the nursing home with the information and showed Aju her family portrait when she was in Northeast China. He also said that her sister Chen Lanfang wanted to see her again.

Aju then smiled and talked about the past. Aju said that she used to work in the Kuomintang's Secrecy Bureau and had remained anonymous for so many years because she was afraid that these things would affect her daughter.

After Zhu Feng was killed, Aju wrote to the Military Justice Bureau to plead her case, hoping to get her stepmother's belongings back and allow her to be buried in the mainland one day. The Military Justice Bureau agreed at the time, but due to various considerations, she finally He did not claim his stepmother's ashes, so the clues seemed to have been broken again.



But Zhu Feng is an underground member of the Communist Party, and his stepdaughter Aju is a Kuomintang agent. The two have been in the same room for several months, but they have not discovered each other's identities. This shows that the two of them have done a good job in keeping secrets.

Time flies by in 2010. One day, a Mr. Pan from Shanghai provided clues that when he attended an event in Taipei, he saw a "list of ossuary migration", in which the unowned ashes numbered 77 The signature on the can was Zhu Zhanwen. He felt that "Zhanwen" might be a typo of "Chen Zhi" and gave a detailed explanation.

So, Xu Zongmao asked someone to check the relevant information again and found that the name registered in the urn was indeed very similar to "Zhu Chenzhi".



In March of that year, Zhu Feng’s urn was found in Fude Cemetery. After various procedures, everyone finally confirmed that it was Zhu Feng’s remains.
