I moved to Hong Kong in the early 1980s. At that time, in order to solve the territorial issues of Hong Kong and Macao left over from history and achieve the peaceful reunification of the country, Mr. Deng Xiaoping creatively proposed the concept of " one country, two systems " and was the first to use it. Solve the issue of Hong Kong's sovereignty.

On July 1, 1997, Hong Kong, which had gone through vicissitudes and hardships, finally returned to the embrace of the motherland. In the blink of an eye, it has been 25 years since Hong Kong returned to the motherland. In the past 25 years, Hong Kong has not been peaceful, and undercurrents have continued to surge.

External forces such as the United States and the United Kingdom are watching with eager eyes. They have repeatedly intervened in Hong Kong affairs in an attempt to stir up troubled waters and use the "Hong Kong card" to contain China. Some "remnants of the British in Hong Kong" are not well-intentioned, and they wantonly spread the idea of "Hong Kong independence" , discredit the Hong Kong government and central government, and incite and confuse the Hong Kong people. Under the framework of "one country, two systems", with the improvement of the electoral system and the implementation of "patriots governing Hong Kong", Hong Kong will be better integrated into the overall development of the country and achieve governance and prosperity.

However, one thing deserves our attention, that is, the current public opinion environment in Hong Kong is still severe. Overseas anti-China forces are determined to continue to fabricate Hong Kong-related rumors; while the Hong Kong chaos elements lurking in the dark have also launched a cultural "soft confrontation" in an attempt to continue to spread the idea of chaos in Hong Kong through the media, books and other means. And with all avenues for inciting riots and interfering with elections blocked, anti-China forces and Hong Kong disruptors can only work hard on public opinion. Such "propaganda and brainwashing" work will only increase in the future. The introduction of the national security law in Hong Kong has brought chaos to Hong Kong society. However, Western anti-China politicians or media have not given up. They have confused right and wrong and begun to vigorously smear Hong Kong. The United States always talks about Hong Kong's human rights and freedoms. Everyone must maintain a fighting mentality against this kind of "public opinion war", fully demonstrate evidence and reasons, and protect Hong Kong and ourselves.
