Hello everyone, my audience and friends, I am Wang Lu, a long reader of traffic police in Chongzuo. Today, the article on party history that I share with you is to write loyalty on the top of the snow-capped mountains with my life. Tan Dong.

Tan Dong, joined the Communist Party of China in 1986, and was the leader of the Xiling Duty Group of the Traffic Police Brigade, Dayi County Public Security Bureau, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In 1999, Tan Dong took off his military uniform and put on a police uniform to become an ordinary policeman. He is loyal to the people's public security cause, rooted in the grassroots, and has been fighting for many years in the high and cold areas where the altitude is above 3000 meters and the conditions are difficult. In 2004, Tan Dong took turns to work in Xiling. The Xiling Duty Group's jurisdiction includes more than 60 kilometers of rugged mountain roads and more than 10 kilometers of rural roads. The flow of people is large and the road conditions are complicated. He has always carried forward the fine traditions and style of the troops, devoted himself to his work, and worked hard.

On the evening of December 29, 2008, Tan Dong attended the police. At a critical moment when the lives of the people who fell into the water were at stake, he jumped into the icy water and rescued the people who fell into the water after more than 10 minutes of hard work. The next day, he caught a severe cold. Considering that there were too few staff, and New Year's Day was approaching, the duties were heavy, so he did not ask for leave to rest. On the evening of January 5, 2009, Tan Dong fainted at his job and died unfortunately after the rescue failed. On the day of the memorial service, hundreds of people came spontaneously to mourn the people's good policeman. After Tan Dong was sacrificed, he was awarded the title of "National Public Security System First-Class Hero Model" by the Ministry of Public Security.He was posthumously awarded the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Member" by the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee.
