On August 24, 1955, a pair of shiny handcuffs was put on her hand. It turned out that in early 1955, Qu Qiubai's wife, Yang Zhihua, asked her superiors to arrest the traitor who sold Qu Qiubai. The public security department quickly found two major suspects, Zhang Liang and Zhou Yuelin. It was learned that Zhang Liang had been killed in 1938. Zhou Yuelin was sentenced to 12 years in prison after being detained for 10 years in 1955. Because her crime was so great, she would still be in prison even after her sentence was completed. It wasn't until 1979 that the traitor who had betrayed Qu Qiubai was discovered, did she leave the prison.
