artist ArtStation's page may hint at a release window for the game Death Stranding 2.

Like many artists, senior artist Frank Aliberti (who currently works as a senior character artist at 2K but previously worked at PlayStation Studios Visual Arts) has his credits listed on ArtStation.
However, Aliberti's collaboration with PlayStation Studios Visual Arts caught our collective attention, as Aliberti's most recent credits reveal that they served as senior artist on Death Stranding 2.
As news about Ali Betti's portfolio spread across the internet, the artist has revisited their profile and completely removed all mention of Death Stranding 2, but not before ResetEra managed to clip and save the original resume, which assumes the highly anticipated sequel will be released in 2024.
There's been no official word from Kojima, Sony or Ali Betti himself regarding the 2024 date - either before or after Ali Betti's quiet deletion - and, as is usually the case with these things, we can only hope for the best right now. However, there are some things to keep in mind.

Hideo Kojima has confirmed that he is taking an "art film approach" to his upcoming film Death Stranding, revealing that "making money is not my concern at all".
"I've been on video calls with a lot of people at Hollywood every week since last year, and not just for Death Stranding," Kojima said recently, working with "Barbarians" executive producer Alex Lebovich to avoid making a "blockbuster."

"I had a lot of offers, but I never set out to make a blockbuster movie from the beginning. Alex Lebovici from Hammerstone Studios shares my perspective. There are a lot of selling points to making a big movie with famous actors and gorgeous explosions, but what purpose do explosions have in Death Stranding?
"Making money is not something I'm focused on either. I was aiming for a more artistic approach, and the only person willing to make this kind of film was Alex Lebovici, which struck me as a rather unusual type. "
