Specially, CATL will invest in the construction of the Luoyang New Energy Battery Production Base Project in Yibin District, Luoyang City, Henan Province. The total investment of the project will not exceed RMB 14 billion, and the source of funds is self-raised by the company.

The main construction content of this project is the production line of new energy power battery system and energy storage system. The construction period is expected to start no more than 36 months, and the planned land area is about 1,700 mu.

In addition, the implementation subject of this project is Zhongzhou Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL. It is understood that Zhongzhou Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established on September 26 with a registered capital of RMB 2 billion, and its business scope includes battery manufacturing, battery sales, etc.
