clothing brand AMBUSH is currently working on a new project that is quite unique in the fashion industry. They have cooperated with shoe factory Zellerfeld to create a shoe called 100S, which uses NFT (non-fungible tokens, mostly for various items). Encrypted digital files (currently mainly in the form of various works of art) exist in the metaverse, and can also be produced in real life by 3D printing .
Zellerfeld launched a 3D printed sneaker HERON01 a few months ago. The 100S developed through this cooperation is based on HERON01 with modifications. The parties did not disclose which 3D printing technology and materials were used. The sole of 100S has a hollow arch structure, which is relatively thick and has good comfort. The upper part is quite thin, has no laces, is easy to wear, and has good breathability. The material used to make the shoes is not specified, only that it is a recyclable and environmentally friendly material.
Currently, only a prototype of this shoe was shown during the NFT New York conference, and the specific release time and price have not been determined. However, judging from AMBUSH products, the price of 100S is estimated to be several thousand. In terms of practicality, the price/performance ratio is definitely very low. It should be more of a financial product with collection value.
