According to Shanghai Art Film Studio, Mr. Yan Dingxian, a famous animation artist, chief animation designer of "Havoc in Heaven", and first-level director , passed away early this morning due to illness at the age of 86.
Yan Dingxian, born in 1936, is from Wuxi, Jiangsu. Graduated from the animation major of Beijing Film School in 1953, and successively served as the art team of Shanghai Film Studio, animation designer, director and director of Shanghai Art Film Studio.
Mr. Yan Dingxian has served as the animation designer for films such as "The Proud General", "Tadpole Looking for Mom", "Havoc in Heaven" and other films, and has directed Acted in/participated in directing more than 30 cartoons such as "The Trumpeter ", "Nezha Nao Hai ", "Ginseng Fruit ", "Golden Monkey Subdues the Demon ", "Shuke and Beta".
Among them, "Havoc in Heaven" is one of the pinnacles of Chinese animation. The animated image of the protagonist Sun Wukong in the film was finalized by Mr. Yan Dingxian, and it eventually became popular among the people.
