   Taiwanese politics dominate everything, and it seems that it has become the norm. The ruling party ignores public opinion to change the system, and everyone is accustomed to it.   Taiwan’s "Ministry of Education" has set up a course review meeting for the review of the syllabus. It has been in operation for decades and has been operating smoothly. After the Tsai authorities came to power, they formulated the “Composition and Operation Measures for the Curriculum Review Committee of High Schools and Lower Secondary Schools.” The appointment of curriculum review committee members was nominated by the “Executive Yuan”. The various parties of the “Legislative Yuan” jointly formed the “Curriculum Review Committee Review Committee”. Half of them will be appointed by the "President of the Executive Yuan" to raise the rank of the course review committee. The method also expanded the powers of the course review committees, not only for procedural review, but also for substantive review, reviewing the "vertical continuity, horizontal integration, or appropriateness of the curriculum", and the power covers everything.

  , of course, the background for formulating this method is for the "108 syllabus". Because before the Cai authorities came to power, the 108 syllabus had been reviewed by groups. If it is absolutely impossible to make substantial changes according to the established procedures, how can the political goals be achieved? Sure enough, the proportion of classical Chinese was successfully reduced; the syllabus of basic textbooks for nihilistic culture; and the history of East Asia replaced Chinese history. Everything went smoothly and satisfactorily, completely ignoring the troubles and the price paid to teachers, parents, students, publishers, etc. !

   In 2018, Taiwan's "Ministry of Culture" issued the "Language Development Law", and the "Ministry of Education" was also asked to carry out political tasks, requiring primary and secondary schools to increase "local" language courses. Elementary school has one native language class every week, and high school puts these 2 credits into the common core curriculum. Although there are problems, it can still be dealt with. Only the junior high school can't give 1 class a week to settle it, because this will eat up the number of flexible courses, and the flexible courses are the highlight of the "108 syllabus"! Therefore, the junior high school sub-committee decided to "disagree" and of course began to face all sorts of difficulties in the class review meeting. At the 5th meeting on October 25, 4 members saw that they were unable to return to the sky, and left the meeting midway, and then handed out their dictionaries, so that the relevant resolutions were suspended due to insufficient numbers. Taiwan's "Ministry of Education" saw that a group of curriculum review committee members expired in 4 years on November 24. Time is running out and it is difficult to force the passage through Guanshan, so they have to form a "curricular review committee review committee" and re-appoint 21 curriculum review members. First of all, the regulations stipulate that the selection committee must openly solicit the recommended reference lists of various education, teachers, parents, and principal organizations, but many teachers and parent organizations have not received the information. Secondly, in addition to the negative qualification restrictions, the "Executive Yuan" nomination standard is actually "a suitable candidate after comprehensive consideration"! Isn't this convenient to "choose what I love"? The new committee members will review the local language courses as soon as they take office, but there are no first-line junior high school teachers in the list. Are they afraid that they will reflect the aspirations of the teaching scene?

   Education is a century-old plan, and students are the future of Taiwan. The ruling party is so arrogant and disregards the long-term development interests of Taiwan.
