At the high school stage, especially the first two years of high school, the most important thing is to find a learning method and learning rhythm that suits you. I have extracted some methods from the high school stage that are worth sharing with you, hoping to help students prepare for the college entrance examination.
Organizing notes
For three years in high school, I put a lot of energy into organizing notes, especially chemistry and biology. I think the knowledge points of physics, chemistry and biology are more trivial. I am not a person who can build a system structure based on a large amount of information only by brain power, so a lot of effort has been spent on writing. There are a few points that
want to remind you when organizing notes. The first thing to note is that organizes notes not simply to copy, but to organize after careful thinking, design, and layout. I suggest that when you are in the first year and second year of high school, you should keep your notes as you learn. The notes in class are often not systematically laid out. They just write down all the points mentioned by the teacher, which is rather confusing, especially not conducive to short-term review. Develop the habit of learning as you go along, on the one hand, it helps to review in time after class, on the other hand, it can also greatly reduce the workload of exam preparation.
When organizing notes during vacations (especially the summer vacation before the third year of high school), you need to pay special attention to the overall grasp of the high school knowledge system. Here I am very grateful to all the teachers in each subject and grade group of the alma mater. Every class of students who are about to enter the third year of high school will receive the lesson plans written by the teachers themselves. The first thing in the teaching plan is the outline of the knowledge points of the textbook, which lists the knowledge points and thinking questions involved in each textbook in detail. And one of our most important tasks in the summer vacation of high school is to reorganize the content of the textbook according to the textbook outline. With the help of the textbook outline prepared by the teachers, the knowledge points that I had missed in the past resurfaced, and the system structure of the high school knowledge is also very clearly displayed in front of my eyes. Perhaps the most important thing in organizing notes is the overall grasp of all knowledge, which is also the easiest place for many students to overlook. Z4z

Regarding the specific design and layout of the notes, I mainly want to share two examples.
One is after finishing preliminary chemistry notes in the summer vacation, I made a simple table of contents based on the textbook outline and the actual content of the notes and placed it at the beginning of the whole notes. With the help of the table of contents, I can easily retrieve nearly a hundred pages of notes, and I can see what I have learned at a glance, which effectively improves the efficiency of review.
The second is to leave a space on the side of the note page for supplementing knowledge points, especially biological notes. After the second grade biology enters the review stage, the question types are closer to the college entrance examination. Many of the details of the question examination are not noticed during the first study. Biology teachers will often add mistakes that have been tested or may be easy to make when evaluating test papers in class. In order to put the knowledge points in the corresponding chapters in the notes as much as possible, I have a blank column of about 3 cm on the far right of the original notes. This is to avoid the error-prone points reminded by the teacher scatteredly recording the situation on the paper or loose-leaf that was ignored by yourself.
Cultivate good living habits
The above are more personalized learning methods, only for reference. But although learning is individualized, there are still many universal laws. For example, you must focus on the learning process.
I started staying in my first year of high school, and the evening study for boarding students was from 5:50 to 9:10, excluding the time for self-study after returning home. In theory, it would take 20 minutes longer than the evening self-study for high school. I also took advantage of the relatively complete study time such as late self-study, and I raised it earlierIt has become a stable and focused study habit, and the foundation during the first two years of high school is also solid. More than three hours of complete self-study time allowed me to completely eliminate the interference of mobile phones and other influences. When I was just entering the first year of high school, I did not even take a break between classes. This learning experience is completely different from the learning experience of being exposed to various disturbances. Most of the classmates only experienced it during the self-study period, and I was able to experience it from the very beginning of my high school life, which is actually a very lucky thing.
In all fairness, learning in high school is very regular. Just like a game, when you have a full understanding of its rules and level settings, you will master its strategy and you can pass levels more quickly and efficiently.
Activities: Life needs some sugar
I am not a person who will only be satisfied with excellent academic performance. The three years of high school packed with various activities may be called "tired". In the first two years of high school and high school, I participated 16 times. In addition, I also actively participated in other types of practical activities. In the winter vacation of high school, I participated in internship activities organized by Everbright Bank; in the second semester of high school , I was selected by my grade to go to Singapore to participate in the exchange activities organized by the Singapore Education Foundation. These rich extracurricular activities not only brought me tests, but also benefited me a lot.

On the one hand, it is because there are more activities, and on the other hand, because these activities are very important, they put more effort than students who just want to experience it. For example, in order to prepare for a MUN conference, I may read papers, focus on key points, and write documents after reviewing at 9 o'clock in the evening, and then get up at 6 o'clock in the morning as usual. During the meeting, it was a few days and nights to devote all of my heart and soul, regardless of hardship. Now that I think about it, I'm so different from ordinary people to do activities desperately, maybe because of my personality, I hope I can devote myself to challenging work and get a sense of accomplishment from it.
The extent to which I have paid may be beyond the understanding of most people. But what I got from it made me feel very worthwhile. In addition to the knowledge gain, I think that by participating in activities such as the Model Union, I have exercised my abilities in two aspects, especially in interpersonal communication and stress resistance.

After participating in various activities, I found that many students around me who were studying in a very ordinary high school and did not have top grades showed a very reliable and trustworthy side. They showed their negative effects in the organization and operation of various activities. The attitude of responsibility often makes me look at me. The fierce competition between junior high school and junior high school entrance exams often makes me forget that test results do not represent everything for a person. And I think that the three-dimensional and comprehensive evaluation of others may also represent my own maturity.
On the other hand, MUN often needs to communicate with many people. These people may stand in the same position as you, or they may be opposite to you. How to unify one's own point of view and how to get the other party to agree to compromise is often the most important thing for representatives to explore and think. It is also in these often unpleasant consultations that I constantly exercised my ability to communicate with others, convey my views and persuade others.
In addition, I used to be a person who was not very resistant to stress. Although I did not play abnormally when faced with pressure, I often wandered on the edge of emotional out of control. The more fulfilling life in high school made me have to face more high-pressure situations, which also improved my ability to withstand stress. For example, the monthly exam will be held next week, and there will be several MUN documents to be submitted this week. When faced with multiple urgent issues at the same time, a person must be able to clearly judge the priority of the events and solve them in an orderly manner according to the plan. Maintaining stable academic performance in class, participating in activities and achieving achievements, all these pressures forced me to continuously strengthen my ability to handle high-pressure situations.
