Gao Lin is the illegitimate son of Lin Huizhen and Gao Guangyi. But on the night before the Corridor Pavilion fire, Gao Guangyi did not give Gao Lin any chance to inherit the inheritance. According to him, it would also make them have enough food and clothing.

However, the TV series did not explain whether Gao Guangyi knew or did not know that Gao Lin had a heart disease and needed surgery fees.

According to the logic of the TV series, the reason why Gao Lin kidnapped and exploded was because he knew that Cheng Cheng had evidence of the kidnapping case. He did this to protect his mother Lin Huizhen.

The problem is that the first arson case in the Corridor Pavilion was set by Gao Lin and had nothing to do with Lin Huizhen. Although it was Lin Huizhen who called Cheng Cheng and she took him into the room, there was no evidence left.

Then he later brought up the story of a flood in Qixing Town, Jiang Yuanxing’s hometown when he was a child. The logic is a bit confusing and the priorities are a bit unclear.

This is just a side shot of suspense. There is no sense of suspense in GET at all. I guess Higashino Keigo must not have watched it. If he saw it, he would probably faint in the toilet and cry, and he would not dare to sell film and television rights casually in the future.

After all, people who have never read the book will still wonder whether his original work is so bad and affects his reputation.
