The 2023 national master's degree admissions examination will be held from December 24th to 26th. Yesterday was the first day of the examination. There are a total of 44 examination centers in colleges and universities across the province, with a total of 5,488 regular examination rooms, 750 isolated examination rooms, and 515 backup emergency examination rooms.
Recently, the epidemic situation has been fluctuating. In order to achieve the goals of "taking exams as scheduled", "taking the exam as much as possible" and "safely studying for the exam", the test center cooperated with the candidates and made careful and detailed preparations in advance. ■Examination room
Two types of passages are set up when entering the school to reduce cross-flow
At 7:30 in the morning on the 24th, at dawn, there were many faculty and staff wearing white protective clothing standing at the east gate of Jinhua Campus of Xi'an University of Technology. A big light was turned on on the top of the security room. Under the light, candidates were walking into the school gate one after another. "The exam room is teaching candidates on the sixth floor, please use the normal channel on the left. Candidates teaching on the first floor, please use the isolation channel on the right." The staff reminded one by one.
It is understood that the Jinhua Campus of Xi'an University of Technology can accommodate a total of 3,000 candidates for this postgraduate examination. A few days before the exam, the school contacted each candidate one-on-one by phone to carefully inquire about their physical condition. There are two types of entrance channels corresponding to two types of examination rooms - regular examination rooms and isolated examination rooms.
html Among the 13,000 candidates, more than 400 are taking the 2-3 day postgraduate examination in isolated examination rooms. The invigilators and candidates will be managed in a closed manner during the exam on that day. The school provides each examination room with alcohol , hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, N95 masks and other supplies. The isolated examination room is also equipped with fever-reducing patches. Medical Service is located in the examination room building and is equipped with medical personnel and emergency medicines.The isolation channel is stretched with warning tape from the school gate to the isolation examination room on the first floor. There is also a faculty member on duty at the corner. There are three facial recognition authentication systems in front of the isolated examination room. Candidates can enter by "scanning their face" or "swiping their ID card". The school will distribute hot meals to the candidates
Candidates in the regular examination room can move around the campus freely after the examination and go to the canteen to eat at their own arrangement. Candidates in the isolated examination room cannot leave the first floor. Their lunches are provided by the school and staff come in to distribute them.
Before ten o'clock, the canteen and kitchen were filled with smoke. The master chef on the first floor has already turned the spoon, and what is coming out immediately is braised tofu . In order to ensure that candidates can have their meals on time, the canteen staff work together in a divided manner. Several aunties on the second floor, wearing masks and gloves, were packing the fried meals into insulated lunch boxes .
Four dishes and one soup, with a balanced mix of meat and vegetables. braised chicken legs , stir-fried shredded pork with green bamboo shoots, braised tofu, vegetarian stir-fried cauliflower, plus quick seaweed and egg drop soup .
reporter noticed that the school also prepared a special halal meal, replacing the large meat in the fried shredded pork with green bamboo shoots.
11:30, nearly 500 packaged meals have been delivered to the downstairs of the first floor of the teaching building. When teachers enter the classroom, they first ask if there are any ethnic minority candidates. After distributing halal meals, they then distribute regular meals one by one. There are large hot water barrels placed in the corridors on each floor. The candidates went to get water and make egg drop soup. The entire meal went on in an orderly manner.

Mr. Hu is from Xi'an University of Technology and applied for Northwest University major in business administration. The test center she was in was , , Qujiang Campus, Xi'an University of Technology, and she took the exam in a regular examination room. After the first political test, "From 11:40 to 13:00, I had dinner and played basketball for a while."
Looking back on the political test in the morning, Student Hu repeatedly mentioned the word "nervous", "It's not that I can't do it, it's because the time is too tight. I have reviewed all the knowledge points in the test and was worried that I wouldn't be able to finish them."
Just before handing in the paper, Student Hu finished answering the questions. In order to adjust to the test state, she took out the basketball from the library after dinner, and met another "ball player" on the way to the court. "We didn't know each other before, and she was also a candidate of our school. She saw me playing basketball, so we arranged to compete on the court."
After relaxing for a while, Hu returned to the library and gave himself 40 minutes of English review time. Hu is a student of 安康. After entering the school in September, she has never been home and rarely left school. "I usually review in the library. I come at 7 a.m. and go to bed around 11 p.m."
Referring to the English test in the afternoon, classmate Hu said: "Except for the final essay, which was rushed, the other answers were very fulfilling."
At about 8 p.m., classmate Hu returned to the library. She plans to review high-level math formulas and knowledge points from professional courses, "and then go back to the dormitory after finishing."
Positive candidates and classmates cheer each other up
Liu is also an undergraduate at Xi'an University of Technology. However, Liu’s nucleic acid test result of on December 19 was positive . During the two days of the postgraduate entrance examination, he needed to take the exam in an isolated examination room on the Jinhua Campus of Xi'an University of Technology.
Talking about the exam on the 24th, student Liu said: "There were 10 minutes left after each subject, so I tried my best to answer it." A week before the exam, he tested positive at a critical moment. Liu said that his preparation for the exam was indeed affected, but fortunately the symptoms were relatively mild.
"I only had a fever for one night, reaching 38°C. After a good sleep and a few delicious meals, I recovered." Liu said that after the infection, four people in the dormitory were quarantined in place, but fortunately, three of them were taking postgraduate entrance examinations, so everyone could cheer each other up. The classmates in the dormitory next door helped them bring their favorite stir-fries.
