Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the arrangements for some holidays in 2023
People's Governments of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and all ministries and commissions of the State Council, and all directly affiliated agencies:
With the approval of the State Council, the specific arrangements for the holiday adjustment dates of 2023 New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are hereby notified as follows.
1. New Year's Day: Down on holiday from December 31, 2022 to January 2, 2023, for a total of 3 days.
2. Spring Festival: will be on holiday from January 21 to 27, a total of 7 days. Go to work on January 28 (Saturday) and January 29 (Sunday).
3. Qingming Festival: will be on holiday on April 5th, a total of 1 day.
4. Labor Day: will be on holiday from April 29 to May 3, a total of 5 days. Go to work on April 23 (Sun) and May 6 (Saturday).
5. Dragon Boat Festival: 6 June 22nd to 24th for a total of 3 days. Go to work on June 25 (Sunday).
Sixth, Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day: will be on holiday from September 29 to October 6, a total of 8 days. Go to work on October 7th (Saturday) and October 8th (Sunday).
During holidays, all regions and departments should properly arrange duty, safety, security, epidemic prevention and control, etc. When there are major emergencies, they should report and deal with them in a timely manner in accordance with regulations to ensure that the people spend the holidays peacefully and safely.
