In order to further improve the teaching literacy of our school’s comprehensive subjects and the teaching level of teachers, on November 16, our school’s art group held a teaching seminar on Chaoyang Road Campus.
This class is taught by our school’s art teacher Zhang Kexin teacher in the fourth grade course "Association of Words". Children actively participate in classroom activities to discover and experience the beauty of Chinese characters. The classroom atmosphere is relaxed and lively, and the students' thinking is active, so that students can learn in happiness and experience Chinese traditional culture through learning. Teacher Zhang’s classroom teaching focuses on an overall macro grasp, and gradually improves students’ artistic literacy.
"Association of Chinese Characters" is a course in the field of design application. It is a lesson about the basics of art character design. A completed exercise unit is formed with the layout design and logo design in the following, which is a basis for the next two lessons. It is very different from the teaching of pure art characters such as bold font and song font. It pays more attention to fun, decorative and flexibility, but less regularity and integrity. In the process of decorating characters, the combination and unity of "form" and "meaning". Its fun nature can greatly mobilize students' interest in learning and penetrate the concept of design in a subtle way. In teaching design, Teacher Zhang closely follows the word "association", from introduction to new teaching, associating everywhere and associating every word, keeping the whole class in an associative state.
The students in the classroom were active in thinking and spoke enthusiastically, and the classroom atmosphere once reached a climax. The children's association with words and expanded in different dimensions with divergent thinking. The addition of art elements allowed the children to experience a lively art class!
after-class comprehensive group conducted a discussion. Based on Teacher Zhang’s classroom teaching, the art group teachers put forward suggestions for improvement based on the actual teaching, and sorted out new ideas for the future comprehensive classroom expansion.
Freezing is not a day long. The growth of teachers cannot be separated from their own accumulation and efforts, and also from the wisdom and support of the team. In the teaching and research activities such as , listening to classes, evaluating classes, self-reflection, teaching seminars, etc., I believe that every teacher united will gain something, thereby improving the teaching and research level of our school as a whole.
