famous works cleanse the soul and immerse the classics in life. In order to stimulate students' interest in reading classics, cultivate students' good reading habits, improve students' comprehensive Chinese literacy, and enable students to form a correct outlook on life and values, the Chinese language teaching and research group of the Lianxi Campus of Jiujiang Foreign Language School held a hand-written newspaper competition on the theme of "Get into classics and get close to classics". All students in junior high school grades participated in the event. Before the competition, the students used the National Day holiday to carefully read classic classics such as "Red Stars Shining in China", "Water Margin", "Morning Flowers and Evening Collection", setting off a craze to enter classics and read classics. After extensive reading and careful appreciation, the students cleverly conceived the work from the aspects of layout, text writing, color matching, overall effects, etc., and carefully produced handwritten newspaper works. The work has a well-proportioned layout, prominent theme, diverse forms, beautiful writing, and colorful pictures and texts.

After class preliminary selection and cross-selected by all teachers of the junior high school Chinese teaching and research group, 30 students finally stood out and won the award.

This activity enriched the students' campus cultural life, provided them with a platform for display and communication, allowing them to broaden their horizons, activate their thinking, improve their ability to use hands and brains and aesthetic appreciation, and create a strong campus atmosphere with a fragrant fragrance.
