Laboratory safety is an important part of the school's safety and stability, and is an important guarantee for the school to carry out teaching and scientific research smoothly. It has a heavy responsibility and cannot be relaxed.
In order to improve the experimental safety awareness of experimenters and teachers such as physics, chemistry, biology, computers, and general technology, and to improve the laboratory's safety management capabilities, on the afternoon of September 26, the school organized all experimental teaching and management teachers to carry out safety education and training. Principal Tan Dan, Vice President Yang Jian, Huang Jinchao, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Huang Jian, Director of the Education Department Wang Wenhua, Deputy Director Dai Sha, all experimenters and teachers of physics, chemistry, biology, information technology and general technology participated in the training. This training activity was taught by Yin Yu, deputy director of the teaching department.
Director Yin’s training is fully prepared. He explained the theoretical knowledge of laboratory safety management and the key points and key points of safety guarantee work from three aspects: laboratory accident cases, laboratory safety education purposes and laboratory safety management measures.
Director Yin listed a large number of vivid examples from the aspects of common problems in the experiment, precautions in the laboratory, classification of hazardous sources, safety management requirements and technical requirements, and combined with his own work experience, he taught the importance of laboratory safety. He proposed risk control measures by analyzing the causes and consequences of the accident. Teacher Yin pointed out that laboratory accidents often occur in small details. Whether it is teachers or students, negligence in the experiment may lead to tragedy. Finally, he reminded all teachers to pay attention to experimental safety in daily experimental teaching and avoid dangers. They should keep in mind laboratory safety standards, complete each experiment safely, start from small things, do things carefully, and cherish life.
Vice Principal Yang Jian made a summary speech, emphasizing that the safety of the experiment cannot be ignored and must be prevented from burning. All teachers should combine theory with practice, continue to strengthen the study of business knowledge in daily work, keep in mind the laboratory emergency response plan, strengthen the study of emergency knowledge in the face of emergency safety accidents, strictly follow the experimental operation standards, and ensure the safety of themselves and students in all aspects. At the same time, Principal Yang also benchmarked against the high requirements of provincial and municipal teaching administrative departments for teaching quality, requiring our school to offer all experimental classes in accordance with the curriculum standards, cultivate students' hands-on ability, improve students' interest in learning science courses, and comprehensively improve the quality of education and teaching.
This safety training activity further strengthened the safety awareness of the experimental teacher, standardized the operation and use of laboratory instruments and equipment of the experimental teacher, improved the experimental teacher's ability to respond to emergency safety accidents, and was conducive to creating a good experimental learning atmosphere.
