The Knowledge Update Project (Jinan) event was held at the Jinan main campus. Zhang Duan, deputy director of the Physical Health and Art Education Division of the Provincial Department of Education, pointed out in his speech that the Provincial Department of Education established a provincial school health care training base based on Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences) and carried out knowledge updates through the base. The series of engineering activities are aimed at improving the professional theoretical knowledge and practical skills of school health care professional and technical personnel. It is hoped that the base will continue to use the knowledge update project as an important form of serving school health and health education, build a school health and health education training guarantee platform, and cultivate more outstanding health care talents suitable for the school health and health education environment in the new era.
This training is divided into four phases, with 50 students in each phase. It adopts the form of combining theoretical lectures and practical operations, and invites the Affiliated Provincial Hospital ( Shandong Provincial Hospital ), the Affiliated Central Hospital (Jinan Central Hospital), Experts from the Affiliated Eye Hospital gave lectures, and training was conducted to improve the practical ability of campus first aid and the practical ability of myopia prevention and control for children and adolescents in the medical simulation center of the school (college) and the Affiliated Eye Hospital. After passing the theoretical and practical assessment, students who pass the test can obtain the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR+AED) training certificate from the Red Cross Society of China.
