After ten years in the workplace, I am back to school again, and I feel a little tranced again! Looking back on my study and work experience over the past ten years, if I sum it up in two words, I think it is "crossover".
In 2011, the postgraduate project was also in the direction of small satellite attitude rapid maneuvering and stability control methods. After graduation, he was supposed to be engaged in satellite development and related work, but received an olive branch thrown by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology. At this time, we are in the early stage of the demonstration of my country's new generation of launch vehicles. Faced with the ideal of "exploring the vast universe, our journey is the stars and the sea", I chose rocket development and became attached to rockets ever since. In this way, I changed from "passenger" to "driver", which is my first crossover.
In April 2017, the Long March 7 lifted the "Tianzhou-1" cargo spacecraft into orbit smoothly,The flight was a complete success. Long March 7 is a new generation of medium-sized launch vehicle newly developed by China's manned space project to launch cargo spacecraft. It is the main transportation vehicle for the construction of my country's space station . at the Wenchang launch site in Hainan I witnessed its perfect launch and burst into tears. During the seven years of passion, I have experienced the process of starting from nothing, from drawing to real object. The arduous development process in the past is vividly remembered. When we first joined the work, the new generation carrier rocket manufacturing base was still a barren land. It was also a new-born calf who was not afraid of tigers. As young people, we carried out plant construction and rocket development and equipment demonstration. Process plan demonstration, digital construction, technical research, there is no prevarication, and some are just solving problems. I have also changed from an ordinary supervisor to a technical management role as a team leader.
With the success of the Long March 7 flight, I am also faced with new choices. At this time, commercial aerospace is in the ascendant. Foreign commercial aerospace such as Space X and Blue Origin continue to impact the public’s attention, especially The reusability of the Falcon 9 has subverted everyone's understanding of rockets, and some people in the system have left their jobs to explore the infinite possibilities of commercial aerospace. There are entanglements and hesitations, and there is a promising future for staying; leaving means challenges, means starting from scratch, and means an unwieldy future. After thinking about it for four months, I finally followed my heart for change and left my job to start a business. This is my second crossover.
At the beginning of 2018, I entered a commercial aerospace startup company. At this time, there were only more than 10 people in the company, with the original mission of "Let aerospace be widely and deeply integrated into daily life".Adhering to the aerospace work attitude of "act now and go all out", I grow up with the company. It has successively organized and implemented many suborbital and launch vehicle development and launch tasks; individuals are also four posts in three years, and have experienced multiple positions and small cross-border positions in multiple departments within the company. Rocket development is a high-risk, high-investment, high-tech industry. How to make the company's scientific and technological achievements gain the favor of the capital market, and how to use the power of capital to support the company's continuous innovation and development have become issues that aerospace entrepreneurs need to think about. Finance has gradually become a new topic that I must continue to face in my work.
In the second half of 2020, by chance, I learned that Wudaokou Finance College opened a master's degree in technology transfer focusing on the in-depth integration of science and technology and finance. Project training "has technological innovation, financial markets, and operations Manage comprehensive capabilities and become a composite and international leader in technology innovation and finance" , which made me shine. Without any entanglement, I immediately started all the preparations for applying for the exam, working and preparing for the exam. In the end, I was lucky enough to be admitted to the 2021 Master of Technology Transfer at Wudaokou School of Finance, Tsinghua University, and realized my third crossover.
Three crosses, every opportunity is the right time, maybe everything is the best arrangement. Entering Wudaokou , I will continue to try in the financial discipline, and I look forward to injecting more power and vitality into my development.
